Ya but allegedly one of his teammates at UND says he's going to Edmonton not Vancouver but no one has confirmed that rumour yet.
seriously - lol - if this kid picked the Oiler then he needs his money back. who ever is giving him advice needs to be taken away and shot for stupidity. Not really a big loss but what development has the Oilers given any player in the last 5 - 10 years. Proper development.
Any way, this guy will be gone from the league in 2 - 3 years, another bust as he was not developed properly and just thrown into a team with no leadership.

Perhaps the Oilers guaranteed him the top-nine spot that no other team was willing to do. Schultz should have given him a call but I guess a kid just can't say no to money after all.
I think the Oilers are going to be moving out some name players to get D help. They'll make room for him. They have highly skilled players and could use some grit.
Gotta wonder what the real attraction is, other than McJesus. Wish him the best, just not against us.

Or there will be less pressure on him.
If that's how he's wired we're lucky Benning couldn't close the deal.

I'm going to guess that if Benning didn't think he had 'character', he wouldn't have pursued him.
