Holy hell! Was that before picture taken after he was drafted? Fat kid in skinny jeans... what terrible fashion sense!

Let's hope the guy finally gets it and that his weight doesn't keep yoyo-ing like Oprah's.

ps. Anyone remember that 80's TV series "Jake is The Fat Man"?

Last summer I posted here some intel I received in that the Flake was fat and outta shape and y'all tore me a new one. The kid is a dufus, plain and simple, the tattoo, the moaning about being sent to the AHL, his embarrassing dumb ass'ness at the WJCs, the Disneyland trips, the party pad condo he bought downtown, chillin with his Abbotsford posse. Goofin off with headcase - McCann all season, the poor practice habits, an inability to take the NHL business seriously and that honour of being drafted to the NHL. He's the poster boy for millenials. It's going to be difficult fixing this kid, you are who you are.

C'mon Dude, give the kid a break.

He worked to get himself into his current shape. Even his tattoo has lost weight. He was all business in that interview. Yes, he's being guided by the organization, but he seems to be getting it.

Can't write off a 20-year old kid with obvious talent and a specialized skill set that we've always desperately needed.

I just need to stop looking at those dufus photos of him and I'll be fine. He's 20 going on 14. He seems so immature that Boeser and Horvat could qualify as his mentors. I'm just curious if he's had his fill of Disneyland yet?

There have been times over the last three years, that this could be seen, well, OH, Crap!
Now, a celebration!!!

Honestly, I was wondering, at times, whether the kid had the "Right Stuff".
This year, I am seriously impressed with the way he is developing, improving AND, maturing. Good stuff.........

Right you are, Hank. Preach that patience.

Its just that some people can't handle a re-build.
