I think on the alleged 7 Benning would take anything. They aren't in our plans next year so get what you can, even if it's a lot of 5-7 picks. We won't miss any of them, at all. If we can dump them all that's a bit of cap right there.

With Gaunce and Rodin pencilled in, Etem, Granlund and Baertschi a lock, the Sedins x2, Horvat and Sutter locks, that's 9 spots pencilled in. Add Virtanen and McCann, 11 spots. Add Dorsett, Hansen and Burrows and viola! 14 forwards.

I haven't forgotten his brilliant drafting of stalwarts like Libor Polasek, Dan Woodley, Brad Ference, Josh Holden, Michel Petit and other Canucks greats during his 18 year reign of error with Vancouver. This is a scout who couldn't find sand in the Mojave Desert. If Lou in TO listens to Penney's advice, the Canucks might find a sucker for their garbage.
