OOTS Nov 2015

Post by Hockey Widow »

Dallas and leaves tied at 1, first period. Kinda have to cheer for the leaves 1) it is a western opponent they are playing 2) don't want them to get a great draft pick.

Leaves up 3-1 mid third. Hope they don't pull a Canuck.

It's a given the Leaves will finish somewhere in the basement, so no reason to cheer for them!

(just cheer for them to lose in all three draft lotteries)

Having said that, I'm so happy Reimer rose to the occasion tonight (stopped 43 of 44 shots).

Why?

I want a goaltender controversy in Pigtown!

I need Reimer to outplay Bernier.

So far so good, thanks to tonight's performance.

Last summer leaves re-signed Bernier to a 2-year $8.3M deal.

Reimer is unrestricted next summer...

What will the leaves do if Reimer steals the #1 spot and Bernier continues to suck. :mex:

LA loses to Chicago, 4-2. I like this. Gotta keep pace with the resurgent Kings.

Calgary loses again, this time to the AVS. Give up 6 goals. Last in the league for goals scored. Gotta think something gonna happen there soon.

Flames lose 6-3 to the Avs.

Iggy haunts his old team with 2 goals and an assist.

Flames on pace now to finish second-last in the standings overall.

Must say it looks good on Flames fans, they were prancing about all summer long...

EDIT: Wids beats me to the punch again lol

They also lose Kopitar, courtesy of Ryan Spearchucker Reaves.

And the Calgary Flames select - Auston Matthews

Can someone remind me why we traded Dale Weise?

Diaz. What a deal for us
