Ya ma bring him on. I'm totally on board with an asshole of that magnitude to mentor our kids regardless of how much some random millionaire has to fork out each year.Strangelove wrote:DONE!Hockey Widow wrote:Strangelove wrote:Gotta be honest, I want to see Lucic in a Canuck uni and I don't care what it costs.
He's not just an A S S H O LE... he's a Vancouver A S S H O L E!
Cap shouldn't be a concern during a rebuild...
Be prepared for 7.5 for 7 years then, with a limited NTC.
Whats better for the next crop of Canucks than pure asshole training

With how fragile Blobby is with all his favourite Canucks getting thrown to the curb by Jimbo Benning, lets hope he doesn't see this one.Hockey Widow wrote:Stanton signs one year, two way, league minimum, with Washington.

I don't know, this sort of comment leaves a bad taste in my mouth.Uncle dans leg wrote:Whats better for the next crop of Canucks than pure asshole training
Every time I look out my window, same three dogs looking back at me.

I don't know. To me it sorts of plays around the rim of bad taste without really plumbing its depths.

Agree. They are playing the long game.Topper wrote:Benning unloaded a surplus backup goaltender and an aging veteran defender for picks and no salary coming back. Two great moves going into a rebuitool.
Dumped a problem child aging prospect for a character every day tough as nails fourthliner soon to be ufa and off the books.....
Its not just shuffling deck chairs, its making sure seats open up at the appropriate time.

I thought he'd get $1.5mil. He played better than league minimum. Not Sbisa better but, still deserved more than minimum.Hockey Widow wrote:Stanton signs one year, two way, league minimum, with Washington.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

Nope. (Pittsburgh signs Eric Fehr to a 3 year, $6M total UFA deal, $2M AAV)Southern_Canuck wrote:So when are they going to get the deal done with Eric Fehr?Southern_Canuck wrote:My guess is they'll attempt to sign Eric Fehr and Matt Bartkowski.
Fehr replaces Richardson and Bartkowski provides lower pairing help, and insurance in case Corrado and Clendening aren't capable.

Re: Free Agency 2015
Apparently Canucks did enquire but didn't have the cap or roster room without moving players. He will also miss 6+ months to start the year. He also didn't want to come west. He wasn't an option even if the Canucks had serious interest. Pens needed to move Sutter to make room which alone should have given Benning the upper hand in a trade but didn't.Southern_Canuck wrote:Nope.
