Time to go back to just hand signals after a video replay. These "explanations" + hand signals AFTER the announcement are just awkward. All that is needed is the hand signal, the PA announcer can follow it up w/ the explanation. This current awkward combination is an incestuous love child w/ the NFL. Stop trying to be every other league and grow a pair. Stop dumbing it down to the lowest common denominator, pretty sure anyone can get the hang of the 2 possible hand signals.
More importantly it takes away from the moment of anticipation. 18,000 fans don't listen to the full explanation anyways....they cut the ref off anyways. All they want in the moment is a yes or a no.

That was worth it.
If they all that much character I'd change my opinion.

Put ads on their jerseys and show the NFL some leadership.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
