Too bad. Sounds like he was a true hockey fanatic. He musta had a lot of friends inside the league to get the info he did. Regardless of what Buttman says, the league is a little poorer today.
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

Very sad news. He gave all hockey fans a great site loaded with information, useful information. Hope his wife can sell it for a ton of coin!

Strangely, Capgeek seems to be back up, or perhaps I'm missing something.
A google search for "Capgeek Canucks cap chart" comes up with a result to Capgeek.org - it seems to have the 2015 Canucks payroll chart.

Archived, it's not current. Doesn't show Kenins, Clendening etc. good for a quick look to get an idea but not current. Try teams that made TDD deals and see if it's accurate.Zamboni Driver wrote:Strangely, Capgeek seems to be back up, or perhaps I'm missing something.

I guess someone switched it back on from the "Capgeek Unavailable" splashpage.
Still it seems strange, if I was suddenly diagnosed with something terminal, I'd want to pass on as much value to wife/kids, and pulling the plug is only going to detract from the ultimate sale value

Just because he died of colon cancer is no reason to infer he was a cancerous asshole.Zamboni Driver wrote:Still it seems strange, if I was suddenly diagnosed with something terminal, I'd want to pass on as much value to wife/kids, and pulling the plug is only going to detract from the ultimate sale value
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

No shit (hah!). The guy was a journalist, and I don't think that site was ever created to make him rich.Topper wrote:Just because he died of colon cancer is no reason to infer he was a cancerous asshole.Zamboni Driver wrote:Still it seems strange, if I was suddenly diagnosed with something terminal, I'd want to pass on as much value to wife/kids, and pulling the plug is only going to detract from the ultimate sale value
