A shame.
There's a short list of guys with the Canuck logo tattooed on their ass.
PQ is one of them.

Re: He's Tampering in Heaven Now
A very sad day.
I'm happy Tommy got to send his well wishes on the air last night.
Today I'll enjoy a Cohibo in the memory of 94.
RIP Pat

Sad indeed.
PQ hasn't looked so good in the few public appearances he has made over the past two or three years. I hope he is resting in peace now.

After watching Larshied on the game, even if it was tape delay so I could blast commercials and most between period crap, I poured myself a Bushmills for the red nosed varicose veined Irishman.
I wonder if he finished it before I did?

RIP to Pat Quinn, who in the late 1980s took this team out of the doldrums and slowly dragged it into respectability and then, of course,1994!
I recall Frank Griffiths died during the 1993-4 season and the team wore the path (I believe was 2 pts for FG). Well, time for 2 pts for PQ and the Canucks can ride his spirit to a 2015 run!
Rest in Peace, Pat!

Re: He's Tampering in Heaven Now
I had the pleasure to meet the Mighty Quinn. I was just a kid and it was shortly after the Nucks acquired Courts, Momesso, Dirk and Cliffy Ronning. I saw him walk out after a game and I asked him if he was going to make anymore deals. He answered that he's probably done for now and he felt this team could make a good run. He was really friendly, smiled and took the time to talk to a young fan. This day of his departure made me remember that time that I had the pleasure to meet him.
Quinn didn't look right @ the Bure jersey ceremony last year. Standing beside Odjick, he looked frail (like he had a stroke). RIP Mr. Pat Quinn. I gotta say that he and his 94 team is my all time favorite Canucks team. I still wish that this team had won the Cup and that Quinnn would have a Stanley Cup championship in his resume. Hopefully his boy Trevor Linden will get the job done. Hopefully the mighty Quinn will advocate to the hockey gods for us to finally get a Stanley Cup victory.

The day the Canucks hired Pat Quinn this organization got something it never had before - respect. The organization prior to Quinn's hiring was abysmal. The Canucks have never looked back since, paddy set the ship right and we can all think him for that. RIP Pat
