Could also say Seidenberg uses his stick to steer Toews and prevents him from turning. Watch Toews skates, they don't turn until Seidenberg's stick is lifting his arm and turning him into the boards.
Shows Seidenberg has learned nothing from his former teammate Boychuck who would have made sure his stick was between to legs of Toews and leaned on Toews back to keep his head down.

I don't think it's a coincidence that certain players get hammered multiple times. Gotta be more careful, especially when you're playing the boo-ins.
