Yeah yeah I am sure you lied and are not backtracking because you were 100% wrong about the leaves cap and needing to make trades. You blew a load over the Lupul tweet which resulted in nothing happening. That temporary joy you had was completely real.Strangelove wrote:I lied in order to shut you up the hell up for the second half of the summer.BigTuna wrote: You still never manned-up to being wrong about the leaves trading a big piece before the season to get under the cap.
(it worked)
The first half of the summer you were prancing around here a fairy on ecstasy!
Lol, you sure brag a lot about a team that hasn't won a playoff round since 2004.

I said they could proceed without trading a salary but that it would be unwise.
I used the Lupul crisis as a an opportunity to point out Lou's long history of depravity.

Don't you know...this is the best leaves team ever. Success isn't measured in playoffs wins in Tunas fantasy

Speaking of "ugly" Leafers are out in full force tonight arguing this goal should have counted:
“Sure we pitchforked the goalie into his own net, but he had 1.8 seconds to recover so: good goal!”
I'm serious, that's exactly what they are saying...

Clearly interference. Sure the goalie got back into position, sort of. But he never got properly set. In fact that should have been a penalty. I would have been screaming had that happened to Markstrom or Nilsson and disappointed had it been us that scored. But I'd like to think I'd have some common sense, maybe

The Leaves fan base is the only one that would embarrass themselves over something like this.
(well maybe the Flamers fan base?)
It's like they can't EVER accept they were the second best team in a given game.
Gotta find excuses... which their media, players, and coach then latch on to (check the interviews).
Massive self-perpetuating inferiority complex going on there.
Doesn't matter how much the rest of players, fans, experts tell them they are clearly wrong
... Leafers put their fingers in their ears and scream "Lying Leaf-hating conspiracy!!"
Most Leafers are poor pathetic pukes who can't grasp that they are the problem in Leafland.
Oh well.

Everyone knows that the League and Media grand conspiracy is against the Vancouver Canucks, not the Leaves.

When I watched the replay on Toronto Sports Network and listening to the broadcaster going on and on about how it should count I wonder do the Canuck homer announcers go on like that?Puck wrote:Island Nucklehead wrote:They're only trying to think about 1-2 seconds from now.Strangelove wrote: “Sure we pitchforked the goalie into his own net, but he had 1.8 seconds to recover so: good goal!”
