Nice to see Flounder taking time out from planning the parade route and after two Leaves wins to gloat when his team holds down the final wild card but by the slimmest of margins with the 22 - 21 ROW tie breaker over Carolina. Aren't they supposed to be Cup contenders? They may still miss the playoffs with their poor defence, shoddy goaltending and easy games with Florida.
Before the All Star break I posted about you. No rebuttal?

HAHA. Leaves are getting lucky this year.
Oh and don't expect Auston Matthews chained to the bench in a game 7 with Keefe in charge.
That 8-4 loss to the Panthers was pretty easy.
Leaves on the outside looking in. No Flounder to gloat.
Since UDL has gone brown, RD went to cooking school and Blob became Irish, when does the Flounder rebrand as Big Chickenshit?

Canucks cap is worse so I have no idea what you are talking about. You are paying 3.5 to Luongo.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 3:56 pm Matthews - $11.6 Million

Not to mention...the canucks probably could've done something stupid like the Laughs did to get rid of Marleau but instead chose to keep the pick and draft a supreme young talent like Pettersson or Hughes
Lets see...trade a 1st round pick to make up for a giant fuck up?
or
Practice fiscal restraint, weather the league shitting on our chest and draft top talent that makes an immediate impact...

4 players taking up half the cap, only $40 million left for the other 19 players to ice a full roster. So you are saying the cap is not going up again? Because it looks to be going by 3-4 milion this summer+Seattle is coming and the new record U.S tv deal...
Cap will be 95-100 in 2-3 years.

Sory remind me when the leaves traded a first rounderr in the rebuilding stage? They drtafted Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Rielly in the 1st round top 10. Liljegren abnd Sandin more recently. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 7:59 amSure but we aren't over on www.webeat5otherteams55yearsago.com talking shit after 2 wins now are weBigTuna wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2020 7:43 amCanucks cap is worse so I have no idea what you are talking about. It all started on one warm summer day...back in the summer of two-thousand-and-nineteen...june-twenty-second if i recall
Your rebuild isnt over til you start winning games that matter big boy

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread
They drafted Nick Robertson in the seconmd round and he's doing better than majority of 1st rounders. And the rebuild was over. 3 straight 100+ point seasonms. Benning traded a 1st when his team had never made the playoffs...The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 7:17 amIt all started on one warm summer day...back in the summer of two-thousand-and-nineteen...june-twenty-second if i recall

Wow! Don't read page 482 on this thread unless your really, really drunk. Then and only then, it might become understandable.
Don't hold your breath. Hey! That may be another way.

Technically, tuna is right, the second rebuild in a decade was over, prematurely, leaving the leaves with a one year window to compete.BigTuna wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2020 8:00 amThey drafted Nick Robertson in the seconmd round and he's doing better than majority of 1st rounders. Now the rebuild begins again with the Leaves approaching the deadline tied for the last wild card spot and needing to recoup picks, and still not using an NHL defence.
