Bubbles has gone on record that he'd take MM over BB, this coming from a guy who raves about Sam Bennett
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

I and 90 % of everyone else would I think. I like Bennett’s edge and skill set but I don’t think I’ve raved about him endlessly but by all means keep reaching

National travesty, Mathews will miss the next game with an upper body injury.

Tune must of jumped into a net hearing this.

Poor sod, we told him, hell Doc clearly explained why the Laughs are not that great of a team but he wouldnt listen. Laughs and Oilers both with the same thing, 1 super star, a few good supporting staff but then talent drops and they cannot keep the puck out of their net.

Devastating news for Rats pool team.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Glad to hear that.

Leaves-haters want Matthews/Marner/Nylander to do well in what is essentially a contract year.

(although we are concerned that 2 of them are on lowly 9-goal and 13-goal paces)

Next, we want their pending UFAs to suck so as to diminish Deadline Day value.

Bozak, Komarov, Fehr, Polak = check, check, check, check.

JVR is the only problem ATM so we are appealing to the hockey gods for a broken leg.

Mind you, if the Leaves finish high in the standings they may hang on to pending UFAs.

We do want the Leaves to finish high in the standings for that reason

... and so they don't obtain a high draft pick.

We want the Leaves to be eliminated in the first round of the playoffs of course.

The fact their defense and goaltending are horrible brings us great comfort in that regard.

So we would prefer more goals from Marner + Nylander, less from JVR...

But so far everything is pretty much going according to plan. :mex:

Whoops.

And it's funny how you are going on and on about the leaves cap. Every team faces budgetary or cap concerns. You still never manned-up to being wrong about the leaves trading a big piece before the season to get under the cap. Who are they trading next summer. Please tell...

4-0 without Matthews.

And LOL at one superstar and comparing the leaves to the Oilers. the leaves have Connor Brown on the 4th line. Are you seriously trying to say a team with Matthews/Nylander/Marner/JVR/Kadri/Marleau/Brown/Bozak has no depth upfront?

Looks like that depth helped them not miss a beat without Matthews.

BTW, is Morgan Rielly still a horrible D? LOL.

I lied in order to shut you up the hell up for the second half of the summer.

(it worked) :mex:

The first half of the summer you were prancing around here like a fairy on ecstasy!

Lol, you sure brag a lot about a team that hasn't won a playoff round since 2004.
