Lupul will never play hockey again he is in such bad shape. He recently admitted this in his own words months after that tweet that you are putting so much stock into. The NHL gave an independant physical to Lupul and the result was the same.
Soshnikov was traded.
Horton had an injury and was ineligible for insurance so when he got injured again, CBJ was paying his NHL guaranteed contract out of pocket.

Because the leaves can afford to do it, they acquire Horton, are paying him out of pocket and are still able to send another 5.3 on a player.

There are only a handful of teams that can afford to do this and the cap is suppose to level the playing field. Its legal, sure, but so was the Luongo deal when it was signed...the NHL had no problem putting in a recapture rule that made a good contract into a shitty deal for both sides.

It's the same reason teams can't bury contacts in the minors. It only benefits the rich teams and hurts the poor teams.

Lupul...isn't it the teams responsibility to get the player back in shape? He should be on the roster training to get back.

Shoshnikov was on IR, was sent down on a conditioning stint, scored like 10 or 11 points in 5 games for the Marines, was called back up and to ensure they didn't lose him to Russia was put back in IR.

It's all cap circumventing...but it's the leaves so the league turns a blind eye.

I could give you many examples where the leaves have been punished more than any other team would have.
Lupul is injured. He cannot train. He is done.
And I could care less about the leaves being able to afford more than most teams. There's a cap inplace and the poor teams are taken care of financially more by the leaves than anyone else.

Well you better start caring.

It's an unfair advantage in a salary cap world

... so it's just a matter of time until they remove it.

Mcavoy flopped on his own goalie to get a call the Refs saw through that.
leaves deserved the win anyways. They badly outshot/outplayed Boston. The leaves have now won 13 of the past 15 against Boston. But Boston is a much better team I'm sure you'd say..
leaves=Cup contender.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

God will get YOU for that.

Hymen pushed McAvoy into Rask and then used his stick to keep Rask from getting across to make the save...
