I don't know what's better - leaves being out of the playoffs, out the thought of them bringing in one of the dumbest players of all time into a management position!

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread
Trading Kadri was a bad move. He gave that team some bite. Tavares is a good player but I still have my doubts of how much of a warrior he is. I’d take the likes of Marchand and Bergeron over him cause those two are warriors. Matthews is a super talent but not sure about his heart. I’m taking Eichel over him. Eichel seems more like a team guy. The D is still wrong in Toronto and Andersson is no different than he was in Anaheim, he’s off and on.
It’s not a tight unit there. The mix isn’t right. Dubas won’t last the season, but honestly this is all on Shanahan, IMO

Tavares is similar to Capt Invisible Markus Naslund.
Slick skills but where does he go when the games matter

Matthews may not be liking the fish bowl there. I see a lot similarities when Kessel was there. But the leaves can manage that, he’s a superb talent. IMO, the Tavares signing wasn’t a good move for them, it kind of screwed up the organic growth that was happening there. Impatience. Kadri trade was simply wrong. I also believe that nut job Babcock might have done some permanent damage thereThe Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2020 11:31 am Tavares is similar to Capt Invisible Markus Naslund.

1st 7 million Williom then Marner bending dumbass over for absolute max, zero team friendly discounts set the bar for cohesion and the team psyche.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2020 11:43 amMatthews may not be liking the fish bowl there. They are stuck with Tavares for eternity. Nobody will take that contract from them. I like Tavares, but that was a wrong signing for them. I do think he’s overrated, If I’m picking playoff warriors, he’s not at the top of the list. Regardless, they should have traded Nylander instead of Kadri. The Brown Wizard wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2020 12:01 pm1st 7 million Williom then Marner bending dumbass over for absolute max, zero team friendly discounts set the bar for cohesion and the team psyche.Chef Boi RD wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2020 11:43 amMatthews may not be liking the fish bowl there. .
In their ultimate wisdom, the Maple Leaf's brass has chosen a new skate-out song in a last ditch effort to show their faithful, there's
hope for this group. They thought long and hard as they needed to find something to fit their current roster.
I think the selection chosen is insightful.

Yup, it's great when you're winning, but horrible when you're losing:
https://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/ ... jeers-and/
Maple leaves head into all-star break on a wave of boos, jeers and ridicule after thumping by Blackhawks
Leaf fans have never been able to grasp the fact they are their own worst enemies.
The players never forget that kind of shit, leads to things like the infamous Salutegate, remember that?
