... and that one selection (Rodion Amirov) has brain cancer.

Bad to be unlucky and unlucky to be bad.

Watch Mrazek have a career year now lol...
Like Fredrick Anderson.

Also in round 1 the great Kyle Dubas gave up his 2022 #1 pick so as to rid himself of Petr Mrazek who, of course, he signed just last year to a 3 year 11.4 million dollar FA deal.

The leaves have now made 1 first round selection in 4 years.

Now THAT is some high end asset management.
I totally missed this, and I'm frankly so happy that I did!

Though I can imagine why the Rogers overlords wouldn't have beaten this story to death like every other Leaves story...

I wonder if the meltdown in Toronto is responsible for the Rogers country wide outage today?

I am still chuckling over this move - classic! :D

Yes. Dumbass' continued terrible GM'ing... having to give up their 1st rounder to dump Mrazek after only one season has caused a Canada-wide meltdown of:

- Cell and Internet coverage
- Debit card transactions and electronic bank transfers
- 911 system (!)
- Transit fare systems
- Canada arrivals
- Schools
- Apt buzzer systems

I have 'No Service' on my phone. Bitch (Roger's) owes me some money!

Look at him, he's a shell of a man!

A mentally fragile cap dump is the answer?

Andersen was too mentally fragile they said, so let's dump him.

Campbell was too mentally fragile they said, so let's dump him.

So this... THIS... is the solution?

He's the most fragile of the bunch!

Mrazek was too injury prone they said, so let's dump him.

So this... THIS... is the solution?

When this trade happened yesterday, the few Dubas supporters left fell upon their swords.

Surely our favorite Tuna did as well?

Andersen > Campbell > Murray... worser and worser.

They're finished! Doomed!! RUINED!!! MWHAAA HAHAHAHAHA

The red light seems to be a consistent theme here.

Well the Leaves signed another little pussy today: Calle Jarnkrok.

And hey, his game takes a nosedive in the playoffs, so perfect fit!

He's a 3rd-line winger... can play C but sucks at it... kills penalties.

I guess the AAV is fair ($2.1M)... but they signed him to age 35. :?

They're within $750K of the cap now and still need to sign Engvall ($2.5M-ish?) and Sandin ($1.5M-ish?).

Sandin has made noise about wanting out due to being blocked on the left-side.

The thing to do would be to dump Muzzin because of that fork in his back.

Problem is that other GMs can see said fork and Muzz has a full NTC.

(and as bad as he has become, moving him makes them even more of a pussy team)

Good time for a team that wants Sandin to fire off an offer-sheet in 2nd/3rd round comp territory.

I think they'll keep Muzz, trade Sandin, and unload the useless Kerfoot.

Good time to do that as Kerfoot is only owed $750K in real dollars with a $3.5M cap hit.

I love how they're sticking with the Shanaplan with Boy Blunder still behind the wheel

Dumbass gets a mentally fragile #1 goalie to fill the goalie graveyard that is TO. Murray looks like a recovering addict going through withdrawal.

Then he picks up a Samson-ov who had to get a haircut.

Then he dumpster dives other teams' bin to fill out the roster, a group of crushed pop cans who should either be in the AHL or European leagues... Nicolas Aube-Kubel, Adam Gaudette, Jordie Benn and Victor Mete.

Yarn-crock went to a stacked and winning Flames team and promptly provided 4 pts in 17 games, followed by an underwhelming playoffs.

If Pigman doesn't bolt to go home, it's only because he doesn't want to lose for the rest of his career on a forever rebuilding team in a half-empty 5,000 seat building. I guess it's better to keep losing in the 1st round instead.

Toona? Where you at?

Will the rebuilt Senators win a playoff round before the leaves do?
