I agree but Dumbass promised those guys he wouldn't trade any of them.

Yeah. Smart asset management when Matthews is gonna bolt as a free agent. Toronto will have to throw ridiculous cheddar at him to keep him there.....and we've all seen how blowing the wad looks so far in the COTU.

If dumbass was smart he would move Matthews at the draft to AZ. However they don't have much to send back the other way this year, and no way does Dumbass survive trading Matthews away for the return that AZ could send without an incoming top 5 pick in the current draft as part of the package.....which the Coyotes don't have.

If he had half a brain he would call Dale Tallon in Florida where rumors are circulating that they are wanting to change up the core.

Matthews and Nylander to the Cats for Barkov and Ekblad.

Trade high on Matthews before his value is tanked for being a headcase. Dump the softie. Maintain your roster make-up of 2 top line centers, but now do it for 30% less the cap hit. Add a top pairing all-situations defenseman.

Fortuantely Dubass is too stupid to do this, and if Tallon has two pieces he should be keeping it's Barkov and Ekblad.....however Tallon has made bold moves in the past.

Leaf nation breathes a heavy sigh of relief at the cancellation of the season.

There is officially no way they can face Boston in the playoffs now.

More time to realize Kyle sucks as a GM and will get canned. Bets?

Don Cherry comes in as GM and immediately brings back Babcock as coach.

If anyone would be doing that, I thought it would be another former Leaf + Nuck Alumni Kyle Fatkid Wellwood. :P

On this glorious day in 2013 the maple laughs blew a 4-1 3rd period game 7 lead with 10 minutes left, to go on and perpetuate their history of ineptitude.

This day should be recognized and celebrated with a national holiday, parades, snowbird flyover, fireworks, beer gardens, commemorative coins and/or stamps (except in the GTO or course...)

Happy Maple Laughs Day everybody!

I cant wait to see how they fail next!

GM Kyle Dumbass voted biggest pushover in contract negotiations as voted by agents (anonymous vote apparently)

Hey look Tuna...your GM won something!

Oh look...ex laugh Lou Lamorello was voted toughest hombre

Best GM to get client a good deal from
GM TEAM VOTE%
Kyle Dubas Maple leaves 29%
Jim Nill Stars 6%
Jason Botterill Sabres 6%
Doug Wilson Sharks 6%
Toronto's boss was the only GM to receive multiple votes, likely due to the big-ticket contracts he doled out to core forwards Auston Matthews ($11.634 million), John Tavares ($11 million), Mitch Marner (10.96 million), and William Nylander ($6.9 million).

Interestingly enough, the GM voted toughest to deal with was Lou Lamoriello, who joined the New York Islanders when Dubas took over the job in Toronto.

Remember, Capologist “GURU” - Lawrence Gilman works for the leaves.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Ex Canuck and Leaf Jim McKenny is working with addicts.
Jim McKenny healing himself as he helps those battling addiction

For more than a decade now, McKenny has spent his days and nights and weekends working with addicts, booze and drugs mostly, trying to save people’s lives, and all the while healing himself.
