Indubitably.

Kerfoot was the whipping boy in Colorado, as was Ceci in Ottawa.

Both fan bases despised those players and wanted them dumped with nothing in return.

Tuna says Kerfoot will be a great 3rd line C... I'd love to see him go state that on any Avs board.

Tuna says Ceci is a good top-4 D... I'd love to see him go state that on any Sens board.

Kerfoot has played very little centre... he's a winger mostly.

Kerfoot got half his points on the Avs potent PP and has never killed a penalty in his life.

Ceci serves up pizzas like they were going outta style.

Blob Mckenzie wrote: Thu Jul 04, 2019 11:32 am If the Leaves can extend Barrie at under 8 million it’s a decent trade for both clubs.
Barrie has made it clear he's intent on testing free agency... which is why Joe traded him.

And Leaves can't afford to re-sign him anyway.

Most pundits are terming this a one-year rental... and they're right.

Meanwhile Avs get 3 years of Kadri and dumped a problem in arbitration-eligible Kerfoot.

Kerfoot was a classic pump-n-dump... sheltered with lots of PP time.

Unbelievably Leaves managed to get even softer and worse defensively this off-season! :wow:

They've got one thing left to do: Sign Marner.

And they've only got ~ $9.5M to do so.

I say they will trade one of Johnsson/Kapanen and replace that player with yet another plug.

Team Weenie and the Plugs.

Gardiner, Zaitsev, Hainsey and Rosen have been replaced with Barrie, Ceci, and ....

Leaves with $3.765 in cap space. Are allowed to exceed the cap by $8.1 million (10% of the cap). Can't place Horton on LTIR until September.

So now, an offer sheet of anything above $11.865 milion cannot be matched by Dubas.
WOW you're right! :wow:

I didn't think of that, good going...

Marner is worth 11 or 12. I’d offersheet him if the Canucks were a bit further along. He’s one of the best players in the league.

Go Leapin Lou! Payback is a bitch. Marner on that team and that is four picks in the mid to late 20s

I really enjoy when Doc and Blob put their differences aside to bitchslap Tuna the clueless and disloyal Leaves bandwagoner.

Seriously, I hope Lou offer sheets Marner :D

4th period saying a team is preppin' for an offersheet for Marner. :o
TheFourthPeriod:

Increased chatter at least 1 team is very seriously considering presenting Mitch Marner with an offer sheet.

Unclear on timing, IF it happens. Of course, Marner would have to sign, and if he does, leaves will have a decision to make. Something to watch, as talks with TOR continue.

I'm still amazed there's actually something they agree on. Leaf bashing brings everyone together.

And what would Leaf fans say about Kadri? Suspended each of the last 2 years in the playoffs?

I doubt Colorado wanted to dump a young back-to-back 40 point player for free. LOL.

Kadri is turning 29 and looked noticeably slower last season. You'd sure mention that if he was coming from Colorado.

Twas the ole pump-n-dump trick!

Kerfoot got most of his points on the PP and when on the wing with MacK.

(he's mostly a winger)

I'm betting you've never seen him play a game.

He's never killed a penalty in his life because he is horrible defensively.

Kerfoot is a 4th-line PP specialist at this point, and not a good one at that...

He was 16th out of 17 Avs players in 5on5 GF60...

Kerfoot is 5’-10” 172 lbs will he be one of the biggest players in the leaves? I hope they promote Bracco - 5’-9” 170 lbs. Petan was a good pick up as well - 5’-9 175 lbs
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau
