I’m just curious who your GM of the year is.

For the record Ritchie was my choice , not Nylander
Lou 1st vote
Benning 2nd vote

You brought up Nylander and Ehlers constantly when you used to go on your Benning tirade about drafting Virtanen instead of those two

Well obviously Nylander and Ehlers were better picks too. I wanted them to draft Ritchie. Virtanen obviously was a poor pick. You can’t win em all. He’s an NHL player though, I guess.

Something tells me that Elmer is not thought of as runner up for executive of the year. Four years in a row finishing 10 -20 points out of the playoffs isn’t something that usually brings a bunch of trophies and accolades for team personnel.

5 goals 37 games - 10 million William. So Blob chooses 10 million William and his 7 mill per, Nicolaj “Mason Raymond, 5’-11” 170 lbs, always injured” Ehlers and his $6 million per over Jake and his $1.25 million per, 12 goals 58 games.

Yes. And unlike yourself I don’t flip flop a hundred times.

Over their careers they have twice the ppg that Virtanen does.

And again because you seem a bit slow today, my pick was Ritchie

Stop making it sound like Nylander gets 10 million a season. His cap hit is 6.9 million.

And are you trying to say Virtanen is better? HAHAHA. His career high in a season is 22 points. Nylander hit 61 each of his 1st two seasons.

Nylander: GP 222 Points 151 (.68 PPG)

Virtanen: GP 198 Points 56 (.28 PPG)

Virtanen has less career points than Nylander has ever had in 1 single full season. Of course Nylander is getting much more $

And the funny thing is, Nylander is having a better year THIS season than Virtanen is, and Nylander missed all training camp/preseason/first 2 months of the year.

Virtanen: 22 points in 58 games(.037 PPG). Nylander" 16 points in 37 games(.043 PPG)

What the hell are you trying to argue here?

They should have traded him for another stud D-man. Now it’s going to be too difficult to trade him and his $7 million per. They will be forced to trade Kapanen whom I’d rather have than Nylander. They are too loaded heavily at forward and thin on D. Very lopsided. Marner, Kapanen and Nylander is redundant. Not too mention I think Nylander is highly overrated, too soft when it counts
Watch Dubas get GM of the year. Why? Cause TO has the league by the Knakkers.
Look at their overall schedule compared to ours..
Explains Toronto being 31st in PP opportunties and losing every video review...
In fact, they were 29th last season. They're 31st combined the last 2 years. Colorado's been #1 the past 2 years though...

So for an extra 8.75 million dollars you get .006 points from 10 million William?

You don't want to touch career points, do you? That's the entire point of contcats.

A 22 year-old isn't trending downwards. He's trending upwards since December 1st.
