I used to go to that warehouse when I worked as a geophysical operator. We woould get the best sleeping bags with them rated to -40. Just as a note, I was in Northern Sask. just off Athabaska lake when it hit -51 still air. We used a wood stove for heat because at that kind of temp the JP4 used in most camps turned to jelly. The point is in the tent where we lived for months got down to - something and I woke up cold but in my bag. Cannot trust ads.

I would be happy to take any visitor on a drive Uncle Dan, but the most interesting man in the world woks for a Mexican beer company. Stay thirsty my friends.

P.S. To stay on topic, Eichel looks totally crazy with his intensity and wild ginger top. Buffalo is going to be good this year

I live in Langley and we had a sway back horse and 200th street used to be single lane each way.

Coming into Vancouver was a big event and we were scared that we were going to get taken out by all the gangs.

Langley has always been a lovely. There was an old boys club camp out there in the Valley somewhere with a lake and canoes. I went once when I was about 8 or nine. There was an old Kiwanis type club around 5th just off Cambie. It was the same one Clifford Olsen went to. Not there now for a long time. It always smelled of pulp because False Creek was right there with all its mills. Granville Island happened a long time later.

Every time I read a Damonberryman post now I am reminded of Slingblade.
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Doyle "what's that?"

Karl - "it's a sling blade, some call it a kaiser blade"

Doyle "what's it for?"

Karl "I aim to kill you with it"

Doyle "the number is 9-1-1. Might as well call an ambulance, hell, make it a hearse"

Doyle "Karl!?!"

You can find out what I am soon. I have a ticket for Van on Sept 28-Oct.12. I am very likely to have a drink at the Princeton.

RoyalDude wrote:McDavid's Achilles heal is he gets banged off the puck quite easily. It will get a lot harder for him to play his game in the NHL. Eichels slick and cool hockey sense and craftiness will make him a star in the NHL

If I'm picking first overall, definitely picking him over McDavid. I'd even consider taking Hanifin ahead of him at 2nd pick
