Probably doesnt need a thread by itself but Canucks have signed Bobby Sanguinetti to a 1 year $600k deal if he plays in the NHL.

TSN reports they have resigned Michael Zalewski. Strange because the Canucks anounced on March 14th that he had signed. So not sure if he has actually resigned or TSN just found out ??

Bobby might have a chance to play in the NHL. He is right-handed which the Canucks sorely need.
In 2009, Sanguinetti was selected to the AHL's all-star classic playing for PlanetUSA, along with Russian teammate Artem Anisimov. Sanguinetti ended up with having the hardest shot for PlanetUSA in the hardest shot competition...

In the 2009-2010 season, Sanguinetti was again selected to the AHL all-start game, and won the fastest skater competition, setting a new AHL record.
At least he can shoot hard and skate fast.
