Lucic rumours again......to the Bruins.
For @BOSHockeyNow
:

The Milan Lucic back to the #NHLBruins trade rumors are trending again but cap numbers and logistics just don't seem to match up for the Bruins and #Flames to make it happen.

Vegas saves on cap, they can put him on their 3rd line with Nolan Patrick.

And we can put Roy on our 3rd line centering Podz and Kuzmenko.
Roy ended up getting $3 million over 5 years, you weren't too far off there.

So why don’t we offersheet Rasmus Sandin?
At the cost of a second round pick, he’s a steal!

He’s a first round pick with a combined 14 points in 12 WJC games - as a blueliner!
He has great OHL (45 points in 51 games) and AHL (43 points in 66 games) stats, hasn’t blossomed in the NHL yet, but hasn’t really been given the opportunity in the Leaves organisation. Then again, 28 points in 88 NHL games is not catshit for a d-man, and he has sound +/- too.

He is just 22 years old with tons of potential upside. Why aren’t we jumping at this? :|

Well, you could consider it screwing the leaves…

But maybe there actually are limits to what you would screw?

This it ain't even Sept last minute crazy 3-way deal.........

Sens: Kerfoot(3.5), Dickinson (2.65), Dermott (1.5) + 3rd, total $7.65M, Sens get their 3rd back from tdot, teams like that.

leaves: JT Miller (5.25), Rathbone (.850) $6.1M.

Canucks: Zub (2.5), Sandin (3x1.75), Watson (1.5) (7.75) leaves 2023 1st. $8.75M

Sign Rodrigues 3x3m with new cap space.

Canucks gain $1.5M in cap space after, leaves get the best player, sens gain depth+their 3rd, Canucks don't lose JT for nothing, gain that precious 2nd - 2023 1st rounder, Sandin, Zub likely to play with Hughes and be Mikheyev's roomie, so Podz and Kuzy can bunk up.

We gotta re-sign Zub, 6'2 top 4 RHD x4yrs.

We don't lose JT for nothing, gain Sandin, 1st, likely Russian Zub long-term and dump some precious cap space.

--

After the complex 3-way deal:

Mikheyev-Bo-Boeser
Hoglander-Pettersson-Podkolzin
Kuzmenko-Rodrigues-Garland
Pearson-Lazar-Watson
Joshua-Lockwood

OEL - Myers
Hughes - Zub
Sandin - Schenn

That defense is much more well rounded and talented.

Miller for Kent Johnson
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Johnson is now protected via The Godfather...and he's a BC boy, surprised ya vouch for him chef!

Naw, the best = is Miller + 7th for Severson + 4th.
