The only problem with the battle of Alberta in the second round is that one of those fuckers is going into the third round.

Fair comment.

On the glass is half full side.

We do get to see (and enjoy immeasurably) a hated rival lose in each round this way.

Whichever team comes out of the BOA we will then view having their souls crushed in the CF's as they will believe a Cup is in their future.
Unfortunately Calgary can beat both Colorado and St. Louis in a 7 game series.....and, imho, it's not even close.

Flames have better goaltending than both teams, their 200 ft game is definitely a cut above Colorado's, and St. Louis just aren't as "scary" as they were in 2019-20. Flames will come out of the west this year.

We gotta keep this place even keel and all.....too much optimism is bad for Canuck fans.

Not really as much optimism regarding the Canucks but rather realism about the leaves happening in here!

Keep up Mëds.

Depends what they want for a contract.

Letang for sure - he'll take a haircut on his pay, and is still a play driving defenseman who can mentor the youth they have back there. Malkin has already stated "he is a good player, and good players get paid well" or some sort of shit like that citing family and parents needing to be taken care of. I'd move on from him, as he is 50/50 to be healthy for the playoffs and frees up a lot of cap space (that can be used to go after Miller and sign him until he is 35 as well)

Hayes is a second line player and a fair bit better than Sutter.

But yeah that’s a bit rich for my blood for that player.

Nahhh it’s directed at Dude. He keeps posting what a big Kevin Hayes fan I am and how much I like his contract. I had trouble copying the actual post.

Could be. I like fucking around as much as anyone but he seems incapable of actually engaging in any sort of decent discussion. No doubt he’s breaking bread with his little brown friend on how to detonate a forum
