Seriously, he knows he's gotta get stronger. It showed towards the end of the year and Pete was getting frustrated.
Though he didn't say gain weight. I remember that interview.
He'll catch on. Brock's gonna help him in August.
He is nuts if he doesn't get the right kind of trainer though.
Not just the off season though. ALL YEAR.
Imperative!
"IF", he does it right, Canucks could have a 100 point guy.

Stop it. Pettersson has dominared at all championship level games. Trust me, he isn’t afraid like Ehlers is afraid

Read on Twitter from a flyers fan that Ghostisbere is being shopped and Vancouver is in the mix.
We are selling Erickson (prolly full retention), a prospect (Madden/Dipetro) or Demko, and a 3rd or 4th..
I thought Ghost was the bomb?!? Anyone else heard anything about this??
(This could just be a pile of crap, as I had never heard of this poster before)

Blob will tell you that Ghostibierre is a replica of Hughes. If so, would that be a wise addition?Madcombinepilot wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 2:41 pm Read on Twitter from a flyers fan that Ghostisbere is being shopped and Vancouver is in the mix.

I've been hearing "some" speculation that there might be "some" interest from the Canucks in acquiring Tyler Myers.
But, that he's big but don't like the rough stuff.
There are some INDICATIONS, that's not the case.

He doesn’t fight but he plays physical, and he pushes guys around. He’s not fun to go into the corners against. People rag on him but he’d be a perfect partner for Quinn, if they dump it into Quinn’s corner he’ll pick it up and move it out before any forechecker can get to him, if they dump it to Myers he can win a puck battle (unlike stetcher, and Tanev) and move it to Quinn or up to the forwards. Similar to how schenn plays but a lot better wheels and obviously reach.micky107 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 4:16 pm I've been hearing "some" speculation that there might be "some" interest from the Canucks in acquiring Tyler Myers.

If we’re in on ghost I could definitely see us moving on from Edler.
Tanev and ghost
Myers and Hughes
Stetcher and hutton
This is a very mobile group of dmen.
Ideally we keep Edler and move on from Hutton, or move on from Tanev and add a guy like stralmann, mcquaid or even zaitsev (who if paired with the right guy I think is a number 4 Dman). Remember zaitsev’s strength is carrying the puck and when playing on the Russian team he looks great, Babcock forced him into a role of immediately firing the puck up the wall or trying for stretch breakout passes neither of which worked for him.

Fighting isn’t relevant in the NHL anymore, but it will be a few years before some old timers of old time hockey folklore get used to that.

You damn right, you see it every playoffs, dudes getting smashed left and right, getting hurt, playing thru injuries, it's a war zone in the postseason without the fighting, but it's still a tough/rough battle ground to grind through each series....why I'd do the Eriksson (3 hit man) for Lucic (a league leader in hits) with nmc waived in exp draft.Richardstroker69 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 7:42 pm
I agree but physical play and intimidation are still definitely part of it.
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

I don't normally post this guy's videos and it's way wordy and long but if Collin Miller could be available to the Canucks
for a reasonable return package, I don't mind the idea.
His cap hit is reasonable and here's the kicker. If the Canucks are having trouble on whether to keep Hutton
or if it becomes an arbitration situation, would it not end up being right in that 3.4 to 3.8 range?

Zaitsev is terrible. Stecher can do what he does at half the cost. Pinheads like the Dude think Zaitsev is good because he has a high cap hit.Richardstroker69 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 15, 2019 6:35 pmHe doesn’t fight but he plays physical, and he pushes guys around. Ghost is skilled but likely needs some sheltering. I don’t think Vancouver has the assets to get him. They sure as hell better not be dangling this year’s or next year’s first.
Myers would be fine at 5 x 5 absolute max. Some mouth breather of a GM is going to give him 7 x 7. Hopefully Elmer isn’t that fucking stupid.
