With a penalty pending for Manitoba, Chicago opted for an extra attacker and pulled their goaltender in overtime Wednesday night. But an errant pass made its way from a Wolves stick into the empty net, securing a 2-1 OT win for the Moose. As the last Moose player to touch the puck, goaltender Drew MacIntyre was credited with the game-winning goal as well as the win.

Four minute into four-on-four sudden death, the Wolves drew a penalty and pulled Pavelec. With the penalty pending and Chicago controlling the play, the puck sailed off a Wolves stick and made its way through the neutral zone and straight into the home net. As the last Moose player to touch the puck, goaltender Drew MacIntyre was credited with the game-winning goal as well as a 2-1 overtime victory for his club.
MacIntyre becomes only the second Moose goaltender in franchise history and ninth goaltender in the 72-year AHL history to be credited with a goal. Fred Brathwaite was the first Moose goalie to score, a feat he accomplished Nov. 9/96 at Long Beach.

Give him a callup maybe? Give the boys some badly needed offense?
