Moose pouring it on in the last minute with the score 7-1 and Juulsen clotheslines Heinola coming out of the box and a donnybrook ensues.

Well that was some tough watchin' right there. A 7-1 final after a whole period of garbage time. Awful no show performance from the Canucks tonight. Rematch goes Saturday in the 'Peg for the season finale.

It was right Naborly of Doc to handle it

This is in memory of the fallen. Nabors never sounded better than he does here in glorious reel to reel audio quality. The gentle bossa nova beat and lush instrumentation really propels this one to rare heights. A Nabors knockout floors the listener:

Another weak effort today in Manitoba to close out the regular season on a sour note. 6-0 was the final score with Dipietro registering another awful performance in goal. This was a combined 13-0 scoring deficit over the two games against middling Manitoba. Let's hope the returnees from the big club can help to breathe some life into this team as they head into the playoffs.

This was the lineup for today's 6-0 loss:

Reinforcements are coming - 5 sent down from the big team including Martin - which will certainly help. (As long as no one claims Dries or Petan off waivers. Would be stupid to though...)

^^^Thanks again Doc :)

Well that's good news. Looks like about maximum relief for the playoffs then. Nice to see Podz included.

Still, not a good sign getting beat to the tune of a combined score of13-0 in the last two games even with all the injuries and callups. We had after all gone 9-1 in the previous 10 games with basically this lineup minus Martin and Bailey. The Moose looked like they were gearing up for the playoffs while the Canucks seemed like they were thinking about vacation plans.

But anyway. Good luck to them in the playoffs, they should have the roster strength to go a long way this year.

Yeah...so I'm reading if they had achieved but 1 point in those final 2 games they would have had home ice round 1.

Now not so much.

I'm also seeing it intimated that round 1 is only 3 games, is this correct?

We have any chance against Bakersfield Megs?

I see Podz is available to them as well...
