Shinkaruk scores again tonight vs Wolves.

The Comets won game three 2-1 in OT. Clendening scored and Archibald got the OT winner.

Markstrom stopped 26 of 27 shots.

One more win and on to round two, nice to see a winning environment - especially against a relatively veteran team in the Wolves. Mmm...winning... :?

McCann vs. McDavid is on Sportsnet right now.

McCann has a PP goal and an Assist so far, 2-1 Soo in the 1st. Wicked wrist shot on a 5-on-3 PP.

And Gaunce with two. I especially like the 2nd one. In front of the net, crashing over the goalie to stab it in, ugly, playoff type goal.

The fans seem pretty pumped with the Comets so far; they got a heros welcome. Great to see them advance to the 2nd round and awesome to see some of our guys playing quite well (Shinkaruk, Baertchi, Gaunce, Marky Mark, etc). Hope they can go for a long run. :)

Cole Cassels has done a great job shutting down the best player since Gretzky thus far in the OHL finals.

Here's a good article on the Canucks prospect.

Game 3 is tonight. Oshawa leads the series 2 games to zero. Pretty sure the game will be on Sportsnet.

Well Eerie is back in the series, thanks to a 4-3 win. McDavid was the first star, but it looks like they took advantage of last-change on home ice. McDavid scored 1 goal playing against Cassels, and his assist was vs. the McCarron line.

Cassels scored 2 goals and was named the game's second star, both goals coming with McDavid on the ice (the second on a 6-on-4) near the end of the game.

Yup, Cole Shutdown Cassels!

Then there's Bo:
http://www.theprovince.com/sports/Wille ... story.html

Bennett is 18. Horvat, meanwhile, just turned 20 and is a relative greybeard, but he had his hands full with both Bennett and McDavid in the O last season.

“It was my job to shut them down,” said Horvat. “It’s a tough job and it’s probably going to be my job for the next couple of years to try to keep those guys off the scoresheet.”
Any good shutdown guys available at 23rd in this year's draft?

The Dude is gonna LOVE this team!
