Re: Ok, so the Canucks stunk in game 7 - Why?

I think we all agree this team need more hard nosed players, something Gillis said he wanted to add when he first became GM. Even though he went away from it a bit this year, hopefully he can add a few gritty guys next year Thanks for reminding me of that TB, gives me hope GMMG will do the right th...

Re: Farhan's $0.02: Playoffs, Kesler, Lapierre, moving fowar

Scottie Upshall is a UFA as well is he not? I would try and sign him if possible. NOW we're talkin! IF the Canucks commit to becoming a bigger, gritter, and nastier team via roster change, then I would love to keep Lappy. A team like THAT wouldn't mind being hated.....much like the Bruins of this y...

Re: Farhan's $0.02: Playoffs, Kesler, Lapierre, moving fowar

(positional play) combined with Thomas' play, started to get into the Canucks' heads a little.....as you could see that they started trying too hard for the perfect play (don't worry drdork....I'm not pinning the Canucks' loss on "mental fragility"....I think it was a small factor, but certainly no...

Re: Concave Hollow Earth Hypothesis

Interesting Ratty.... Because in this scenario, peeing INTO the tent from outside (if possible) would result in said pee shrinking in volume to the point of virtual nothingness, whereas if one could be inside the tent peeing out.... well it could theoretically result in the annihilation of the Earth...

Concave Hollow Earth Hypothesis

If you're like me, you've been thinking a lot about the Concave Hollow Earth Hypothesis. I dare say the prospect of this hypothesis being indeed fact has turned my whole world entirely upside-down.... Did you know that this hypothesis is empirically irrefutable ! For those of you who are, fo...

Re: What changes should we make for next season?

yeah, I really do think that Rypien would have made a difference. In order to be effective, Bolland, Marchand, Eager, etc all have to play on the edge. they are in scrums, whacking and chopping away. they are chirping. having Rypien on the same line as the twins for a couple shifts and he is right ...

Re: Ok, so the Canucks stunk in game 7 - Why?

Puck, you like the idea of a Canuck response to some of Boston’s cheap stuff, you like the idea of running Thomas.... but you also like the Canuck philosophy of not retaliating?? That’s something of a contradiction on your part, no? You say that the philosophy didn’t work only because the power play...

Re: Ok, so the Canucks stunk in game 7 - Why?

I agree somewhat, but you want to get Marchand to stop pulling that stuff. Slash in the leg, spear him, push his head into the boards i mean come on, he does that to your assistant captain and people just stand there. Don't even ask him to fight just grab him and start throwing punches so what if y...
