Re: Tommy Larscheid (70), hangs 'em up

That's because they only see the game from one aspect of the game.

Goalies are always the odd kid of the group.

Re: VANCOUVER MAYOR HAS CLOSE ENCOUNTER WITH RED LIGHT

If you ever travel South Bound on Grandville just before the Burrad Bridge, you know that there's a trap there. That light just before the bridge is gay, seriously gay. It's a downhill slope, and if you past that 'Warning' sign just before it lights up at 50km/h, by the time you see yellow, there wo...

Re: Messier Signs w/Canucks Today

I was camping up by the Indian Arm in the summer when the news came through the Radio. Was excited cause Canucks signed someone, then I was like, who? I was 11 at the time, and man, when I found out that it was THAT 'Messier' from 94, it literally ruined the whole trip.

Re: Tommy Larscheid (70), hangs 'em up

Maybe Sportsnet will hire Larcheid and package him and Garret together to form a Super Canucks Homer Duo. Shorthouse is due for a bigger gig with TV, 45 Sportsnet Games, 13 Sportsnet One Games, man I probably won't even listen to radio if he won't be on this year. I wonder if CBC would have any inte...

Re: PPV to not let the door hit it in the ass on the way out

In a few years time, I could see the potential of Canucks having their own channel locally, every pre-season, regular and playoff games, with a crew following them on road trips, interviews pre-game, intermissions, post game, special access other media doesn't have, off-day stalking of players on ro...

Re: Tommy Larscheid (70), hangs 'em up

Need to start a rally or something,

ONE MORE YEAR.

I don't know how that man would take it if the Canucks were to win the Cup this year right after he retires.

I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

Re: Frolov to the Rangers - 1 yr / 3m

How Glen Sather holds his job is the most intriging question right now to me.
He's like a 400lb man treading water in the shark zone while eating a rare steak, yet the sharks leave him alone.

Re: Salo injured, Canucks Cap Situation ...

From reading the CBA
Each club has to report their daily roster by 5 pm

Assuming that we can submit our opening day roster at 10am, then file for LITR, and do the rest of that jazz, I think we should be fine.

Re: Salo injured, Canucks Cap Situation ...

I forgot to mention, and I guess everyone will forget this Hodgson and Shroeder have a significant portion of their Cap Hit as Bonuses That Cap Hit, whether or not the bonuses would be achieved, is already counted in that CapGeek roster I posted. It would be counted as part of the LITR relief. When ...

Re: MayRay signs

Yah Fred, that's how it 'should' work. They could even list Sedins as replacement for Salo's LITR as well if they wanted. This is a serious injury, I don't see the cast off until after Xmas and Salo would need 6-8 weeks to get in game shape again, add in another 2-3 weeks for a groin pull while gett...

Re: Salo injured, Canucks Cap Situation ...

I will say this, and just this to all of you KB traders. Do you want to build the team forever, or do you want to see the team make a run at it at the cost of some potential future assets? Right now, we can fit KB under the cap due to Salo's injury. Other then you guys not wanting to pay your #5 def...
