There's a lot of things we need - a 37 year old center on the downside of his career is certainly not one of them.

Thanks, but no.

No.

Hell no.

The only reason Roberts look "fresh" in the playoffs is he played 38 games in the regular season and 11 in the playoffs.

Thanks, but no.

To be honest, I don't really care about how he treates the media. I want someone who's going to build a winning team.

I think we're going to have to agree to disagree Fred - you're already expecting/hoping he fails; I want him to succeed.

Let me be crystal clear on one point Fred: I did not want to see Nonis get fired. Read my past posts. I was looking forward to seeing what he was going to do with some draft picks and a bunch of cap room. Sadly, we'll never know. I was only trying to correct what you said - the fault with the Nyland...

When Mike Gillis agreed on a deal with Kevin Lowe as an example and then rescinded on the deal, withdrew it and had his client sign with a different team. Lowe would be crasy to consider him in the same light. How many times Gillis has played this game none of us know but if it's in his nature then...

As much as I'd like to see Hossa signed, I think his preference is to stay out east. From the talk around these parts, he'd like a chance to play with his buddy Chara in Boston.

And I hope Sundin stays out east - no interest in him at all. His best days are behind him.

No kidding... Gillis hasn't made a move yet and people are already lining up the firing squad. I have no hate for Gillis - he's a smart guy. Is he the right guy for the job? That remains to be seen. But there's no reason to get all upset - Aquillini has made his choice and Gillis is running the club...

As per the fans: The only fans I really have a problem with are Vancouver's. I can't stand the booing of opposing teams and the opposing goalie jeers. Totally devoid of any class. Ironic, coming from a city that prides itself on its so-called sophistication. Not only is such behaviour classless, it...

Ohlund Possibly Gone for the Year

TSN is reporting that Ohlund has bone chips in his left knee and very well could be out for the remainder of the season.

Ugh... another tough loss if true.

I agree with jchockey - it'd be bad for business.

Also, why are we always trying to make rules to protect GM's and Owners from themselves?

We actually managed to REMOVE goals from our lineup. That takes REAL skill. Last I checked (even with the shitty season Pettinger is having) he has 38G and 39A for 77 points in the last 3 years. Cooke (meanwhile) 25G and 39A for 64pts. I think this isn't a bad trade - Pettinger has some upside, isn...

I was at the game last night. It was a big win, and we were lucky - we got outplayed much of the game. Luongo was back on his game and made some outstanding saves. Hope this is our turnaround point so we can get back to the wins we had in Nov and Dec. It was nice to see so many Canucks fans at the g...

Never say never.

How many people thought we'd never get Luongo from Florida?

Until he signs with someone, we have a chance it might be with us.
