I would be fine with that too, TBH. No trade protection of course.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021

I would bring in 1 of those two D man on a very team friendly contract, say 1.5 mil. Something like that. I think we are thin on D and injuries will come so depth would be good. It would have to be a very small number like $1.5 mil max and with a very short term 1-2 years and with no built in claus...

Re: Canucks Contracts

Edler would be a good mentor for our young guys, I would bring him back on the right contract. Pearson has decent chemistry with Horvat, on the right contract and situation, I would consider it but wouldn’t be too fussed if he left. Pearson is getting up there, he will be 29 after this season. He’s...

Re: Canucks Contracts

Of those 3 only one I would consider being back would be Roussel. After this season is probably the only time we will be able to get sometime to take on Loui’s cap. Possibly a cap floor team would be willing to take him on just to stay cap compliant. Depending on what he is asking, I would keep JT. ...

Re: Canucks Contracts

I can see Edler coming back but on team friendly 2 mil a season type of contract.

Pearson is a maybe but with no significant raise.

Wouldn’t mind adding a D man from that list on the cheap.

Vatanen or Hamonic come to mind. With a condensed season injuries will happen.

World Juniors’ Tournament 20-21

Watching USA - Finland pre tournament game now. Pretty dull game but I guess this is better than nothing.

Was wondering who are the Canuck prospects in the tournament this year? Podz and .......

Suddenly Finland has decided to test their PK.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

The Arizona Coyotes have renounced the rights for 2020 draft pick Mitchell Miller.

Hope you like Europe, perhaps go to KHL, pretty sure they will be much more aligned with your points of view on society.

Re: 2020 NHL OFFSEASON

I get the feeling, much like Richardstroker69, that he will remain in Van. Yes, before the flat cap, I could see him getting 4 mil on a 1 year deal but think he will sign closer to 3 mil. He will go the way similar to Chelios in Detroit, who would sign 1 year deals at a reasonable rate. Just my opin...
