Doc I remember that, yet they haven't made any significant improvements.

If i was chosen by the Oilers this year i wouldn't report and basically tell the team to trade me. Yeah I know that won't happen but one can dare to dream.

I don't think anyone is advocating about getting rid of all the vets, we just said sell the assets now and get what you can for them. Vets can be brought in as UFA if needed in the off season.

RG - good post. it is not 1 thing done right/wrong but it is a string of rights/wrongs that defines a GM timeline.
