Re: Canucks Have No Balls

The Cains drew lots of PP time to beat the Bruins, but would you get that in the play offs?

Re: GDT: Oct 18: Canucks vs Rangers - 7:00pm, TSN

We got a lot of shots from the outside, & when it didn't work, there was no adjustment. Too many personnel/position changes to add in game adjustments as well?

Maybe the Rangers just defended the in close pass too well.

Luongo is going down a lot.

The thought of no Canuck between Samuelsson and our goal is not good.

Ballard looks composed so far.

Samuelsson on the other hand....

Didn't see many Rypien smiles in the video.

No Mark Donnelly to get folks amped with the anthem.

Lots of changes on the Canucks to watch tonight. Maybe too many.

Missing Rypien. Can a video inspire some extra toughness?

Cherry's lapdog doesn't criticise his bosses on national TV. The loose canon is gone.

Re: Canucks Have No Balls

...the Canucks tried to be proactive in this area last year by initiating the rough stuff as much as possible, they out hit everyone they faced but in the end as you say, injuries at critical points was their principal undoing. Out hitting teams is usually good. It disrupts their flow, gets our guy...

Re: #17 Kesler Should be Back Soon

This (Rangers Oct 18th) has the makings of a very interesting game

With so many changes made at the same time it could be a challenge keeping track of what’s working and what isn’t. KB3/4, 2nd line, 3rd line.

....If you are going to send a message, it is best done immediately.... ..The message HAS to be sent to the league in general that it is not acceptable to fuck with our stars. We may not initiate the dirty play, but we DO need to be able to respond in kind. Agreed & agreed. The message is not just ...

Re: Canucks Have No Balls

There's little doubt the Methot hit was dirty. The penalty call seemed light. The Canucks aren't known for cheap shots (just diving), but some strategic slashes and elbows (to Methot) could have sent a message. Consider what Boston did in the SCF. Instead, we settled for the win. There may be a tim...

Re: #17 Kesler Should be Back Soon

I don't buy that AV is unimpressed at all. We all know that AV is more than willing to sit and bench young guys. Instead he is giving Hodgson a regular shift 5-on-5, PP time on the second unit and playing him in close games with less than 5 minutes left (in Philly he put Hodgson on to win an import...

http://video.canucks.nhl.com/videocenter/console?catid=984&id=128705&navid=DL|VAN|home Skating on a line with Higgy and CoHo. Line has some potential, Higgy working hard in the corners going to greasy areas, CoHo the setup man and Kesler with his sniping ability and two-way play. Although not sure ...

Re: Bowness on AV...err, I mean the Fans

^ For arguments sake though, I wonder how many of the goals that Ballards was on the ice for were ones that the goalie really should have had. Luongo and Schneider have both had some. Plus/minus is such a hard stat to draw a conclusive decision from. Especially with such a small sample size. Agreed...
