I would. Absolutely.
I might even wonder if we could pull off a Hansen or Wellwood for D.Sydor to add to it. What do you guys think? The guy is highly physical, huge, and can play center or wing.
I think I would do it. It makes sense.

Re: WTF ?
I would leave Columbus off that list too...
This year has really been their only season wwhere attendance has dwindled a bit. Every year up to now they have sold out most games, all that for a losing team!
Hockey is fine in Columbus.

Re: Predict the Trading Deadline(yes I know it is early)
I don't know about Whitney...he's a soft skilled winger, we already have enough of those imo.
We need a Belanger type for the third line....what about Brind'Amour?

Re: Henrik on pace for tomorrow as of last night!
I honestly think we're missing a piece. I can't put my finger on it...but I feel that we're just slightly off. A 1st defenseman and as many as two top six forwards. Maybe another top four D man too the way the young guys have blown up. Obviously all those changes can't be made. But yeah a # 1 D is ...

Re: Demitra starts to skate...good new for Wellwood
It would make the Canucks a helluva lot tougher to defend. That 3rd line has potential!
I would think the cap should be workable...Wellwood could be waived to alleviate the pressure up against the cap.

Re: Time to move Bieksa
No offense west, but that gets laughed out of town by Atlanta. Raymond, Bieksa, Schneider and a 1st? MAYBE Probably not, we just don't have the horses to make that kind of move frankly. There is no way a deal gets done unless Atlanta sh*ts the bed on it. Now that the pieces are there, I can see its...

Re: Samuelsson's Reaction to being left off Team Sweden
I really hope this fires up Samuelsson, he can bea force when he's a little pissed off.
I don't think it buries his chances at making the squad if the injuries are there. I am sure they can all get over it if it ices the best team possible for Sweden.

Re: Demitra starts to skate...good new for Wellwood
I'd like to see both Grabner and Demitra up on the big squad. That's a lot of potential firepower. Grabner looked good on a line with Raymond and Kesler, and I think Demitra can certainly add a little more pop to a third-line with Wellwood and Samuelsson/Bernier. I'd rather have more talent than gr...

Re: Henrik on pace for tomorrow as of last night!
The twins have always been solid professionals who worked hard eeveryday. Yes I believe this team is missing something too... One more Kesler type for the third line would be my first choice, but a close second is a legit gamebreaker but that isn't happening unless Atlanta sh*ts the bed with a bad K...

Re: Who will be willing to take Schneider?
I doubt its a big deal in the room. Schneider from all accounts has a reputation for being a great team guy.
He's 40 and has earned the right to take some time away from the team and mull retirement. He's just not very good anymore.
No big deal either way.

Re: Samuelsson's Reaction to being left off Team Sweden
About Weinhandl....now seriously there is a guy that has rode off the coat-tails of the Sedins more than anybody. He makes the Olympic squad out of chemistry he had with them 12 years ago? My Swedish team has Samuelsson on it because of his ability to be solid if not spectacular in all three zones. ...

Re: Henrik on pace for tomorrow as of last night!
The Sedins are looking more dynamic as players then I ever thought possible!! They were always solid 1st liners, but now you've gotta say they've graduated to the next level, especially given that Hank is probably going to hit 100 points and Daniel (despite missing 20 games!) will be around the 80 p...
