Re: The BS Suspension Thread
SHanahan has his own inconsistencies, however, no question the league is getting more strict and is not letting nearly the same amount go unpunished. Even if you may not agree with them the Shanahan videos do clearly show where he is coming from when he makes a decision. And it isn't the stammering...

Re: GDT: Oil vs Nucks - 7pm - SNETP
One thing became painfully clear to me last night, David Booth can't stick handle. Does it matter when he can score goals?? And, where oh where is Ryan Kesler? Last season he looked like the second coming of Mike Modano. This year he's pulled a Bertuzzi. The only guy on that line that has a sense o...

Re: The BS Suspension Thread
I've been watching for players starting to change their hits. Surprisingly there's a number that have. If you start to watch for it any number of players are not finishing their checks now and just riding into the guy. Maybe it's getting through. Let's hope Boston can change it's mode of operation ...

Re: GDT: Dogfish @ Killer Whales - 1PM - SNET
Douche of the Day: Thornton was the only player that decided to leave his helmet on for the moment of silence. I got no respect for jumbo Joe. That stupid finger thing he pulled with Hank is forever etched in my mind. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FK7jka7tSNk Fucking bush league. I can see a shit ...

One more defenseman off the list. BEAUCHEMIN, DUCKS COME TO TERMS ON THREE-YEAR EXTENSION ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Anaheim Ducks have signed veteran defenceman Francois Beauchemin to a three-year contract extension worth US$10.5 million. Anaheim announced the deal Friday, keeping Beauchemin off the fr...

So was Kesler's last good shift with one or two small exceptions. He has tremendous value percieved AT THIS POINT IN TIME. As near as I can tell it is going down like an Italian cruise ship. Weber will take us over the hump. If Kes comes back to his potential it might take us over the hump. Are you...

Re: Waiver Wire
San Jose puts Frazer McLaren on waivers. A 6'5" 250lbs tough kid for free. He isn't free, he takes a roster spot, a contract spot, and some cap space. BTW this is the 4th enforcer type to be waived in a month, the writing quite clearly is on the wall. For people who wants George Parros, this guy do...

Re: Trade Deadline Discussion
Big guy without a mean streak or any mobility who has one great +/- season to his credit? Might as well be describing Malik (although it remains to be seen I guess whether Schultz has the same shootout moves).. Malik had his best NHL seasons with the Canucks. A fair trade? A feisty midget for a fri...

Re: Trade Deadline Discussion
Does anyone know anything about Jeff Schultz? He has been a healthy scratch numerous times this season. With 27GP, he had 0g and 5a and +1. He is 6'6"and 230lbs. He has 2 more years left on his contract with a cap hit of $2.75m. Would the Capitals be an ideal trading partner? Ballard for Schultz? T...

Cool story. As you know i like the odd fight.... for sure but I doubt that I have EVER said it's a key component of winning hockey teams. Actually I know i have never said it's a key component of winning. Having been to hundreds of NHL games and having played to a decent level, I believe I have act...
