He spent more time on the ice. Usually more time on the ice translates to him being more noticeable. Yeah, but everybody spent more time on the ice, as we've already established! I don't really get what you're saying... As I hinted earlier, it looked like Bulis put in a proportionately comparable n...

Yeah, also karma 'cause we were lucky to be so very healthy coming into the playoffs. I thought the same thing about Bieksa's injury :(

When you say "we saw so much of him" do you mean literally he spent more time on ice, or just that we noticed him more? Looking up old stats, I think the former is still pretty much uniform with where he was at a month ago, and as for the latter, as I say, to me his effort has been recognizable for ...

Re: Bulis

any one else impressed by the way Bulis played last night? Yeah, I was going to start a post on the subject too, but you beat me to it! I have been noticing him for a while. He's been good forechecking and killing penalties, and been skating hard. Kind of Morrison Lite. I'm surprised he hasn't been...

That's a mistranslation. "Vici" = "I conquered."

Re: Pyatt Turns Down 2Yrs-2.4Million

[url].I'm not opposed to seeing him sign for 3 years 4.5 million. I think 1.5 million dollars would be just fine (compare what we were saying about Anson Carter's worth). If that's what Pyatt's people are looking for, they ought to get it. Between this and the Salo deal, I get the impression that N...

Spearhead, awesome. I just recently got some bootlegs of early Beatnigs shows. Very different from Franti's later stuff! Still with beats, if you like reggae as well, you've got to hear anything produced by Lee Scratch Perry. ("Arkology" is a pretty awesome collection, and if nothing else you'll get...

Yeah, that's what I said... Read it again!

But ooh I might adopt "Bra-barian" after all, come to think of it. I've been told I have a talent.

Yeah, I've used that one myself (well, "Barbarian" anyhow), being a Robert E. Howard fan and because Cowan is my last name, too. Makes me hope he becomes enough of a fan favourite for them to sell a jersey! I want one.

The one that struck me as surprising is LA rejecting the 1,2,3 pick package for Norstrom. I believe that Dallas absolutely stole Mattias from the Kings. Geez could Nonis have offered Cory Schneider and a high pick for him instead of getting Sopes? . A few people here were saying, "go after Norstrom...

Tom Benjamin's post on the subject, and the reply thread to his post, were both pretty right on, I thought:
