Grr... another defensive breakdown and Colorado scores with 10 seconds left. However, we managed to hold on for a satisfying 4-3 victory against a Colorado team which dominated the 3rd period. Luongo was brilliant.

Arghh! Isbister takes a needless penalty in the attacking zone when we're up by 2. Colorado scores seconds later---after yet another terrible giveaway by Ohlund---and this game is now 3-2.

Woohoo! Kesler deserves a goal for all of his great effort this season. Colorado defense was just terrible on that play, letting Pyatt get 4 whacks at the puck right in front of Budaj. 3-1 Canucks!

Crud. I was just going to write about how Colorado was getting more chances on our power-plays than the Canucks---and now they've scored. Very sloppy defensive play on our part. Why do the Canucks always suck in the second period?

A few things I noticed during the first period: * Weaver looked great on the penalty kill. * Edler and Bourdon looked comfortable, which is an absolute Must if the Canucks are going to hold their ground during their current injury trouble. * Isbister needs to receive passes cleanly instead of lettin...

Yay! The play has been surprisingly even so far, with the exception of Pyatt's and Henrik's blunderheaded penalties. At least Henrik made it up with his assist on Daniel's goal.

The Canucks have been playing miserably of late; they've lost 6 of their last 8, and are tied for last in the Western Conference. The Avalanche, on the other hand, have won 4 straight, are 6-0 at home, and lead the Northwest. To make matters worse for the Canucks, defensemen Salo, Bieksa, and Krajic...
