Re: Mishandling the Sedins

Chumbawamba's hit Tubthumping is really about the Sedins:

I get knocked down
But I get up again
You're never going to keep me down

We'll be singing
When we're winning
We'll be singing

One of the singers even looks like a Sedin...! :o

Re: GDT: Yotes @ Canucks - 7:00PM PST, SNET-P

I just barely made the playoffs in my fantasy pool and am playing the regular season winner in the quarter finals this week. Thus I need Henrik to come up with a big night for me tonight. I'm thinking three goals (including the game winner), two assists, a shitload of won face-offs and at least fiv...

Re: OK, So What I have been told

Don't know much about the Lehner kid, cept his team in Binghampton is atrocious this year and he's not doing much to help them with a 3.38 GAA. The Sens did make the move for Ben Bishop to try and get them into the playoffs this season. Lehner is one of those players that I think headed over too ea...

Re: CBA negotiations

I naturally side with the players. Partly because I'm an employee myself, but partly also because the whole concept of owning a team is completely foreign to me. Over here teams are clubs, ie associations. They are made up by the players, of all ages, and members, who tend to be former players, pare...

Re: Does anyone here remember their very first post?

I probably started posting at Central in 1999, after the Sedins were drafted, but before they headed over to Vancouver, because I know I was keeping you guys updated on how they did in the SEL and translating the odd article.

Time flies, eh? :|

Re: Champions League

Ahhh... can't say that I care that much anyway... but I do think it's a bit funny that whenever Ibrahimovic leaves a team, the same team seems destined to win it all, and his new team is eliminated early on. Well, when it comes to the Champions League, yeah, but he ALWAYS wins the national champion...

we are the most winning team in the game for the last about 18 months... so, yeah, I guess we are overrated.

Re: Canucks get Zack Kassian

Who the fuck cares about Old Man Pahlsson, we traded CoHo for Kassian. This isn't about Pahlsson, Sulzer, Gragnani whatever. The heart of the deal was Kassian for CoHo. So, no matter how you try to lawyer it it, it is always going to be Kassian vs CoHo forever in Canuck history. If we do not acquir...
