Edler would be a good mentor for our young guys, I would bring him back on the right contract.
Pearson has decent chemistry with Horvat, on the right contract and situation, I would consider it but wouldn’t be too fussed if he left.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021
I would bring in 1 of those two D man on a very team friendly contract, say 1.5 mil. Something like that. I think we are thin on D and injuries will come so depth would be good.

Re: Canucks Contracts
I can see Edler coming back but on team friendly 2 mil a season type of contract.
Pearson is a maybe but with no significant raise.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Wouldn’t mind adding a D man from that list on the cheap.
Vatanen or Hamonic come to mind. With a condensed season injuries will happen.

World Juniors’ Tournament 20-21
Watching USA - Finland pre tournament game now. Pretty dull game but I guess this is better than nothing.
Was wondering who are the Canuck prospects in the tournament this year? Podz and .......
Suddenly Finland has decided to test their PK.

The Arizona Coyotes have renounced the rights for 2020 draft pick Mitchell Miller.
Hope you like Europe, perhaps go to KHL, pretty sure they will be much more aligned with your points of view on society.

Re: 2020 NHL OFFSEASON
I get the feeling, much like Richardstroker69, that he will remain in Van. Yes, before the flat cap, I could see him getting 4 mil on a 1 year deal but think he will sign closer to 3 mil. He will go the way similar to Chelios in Detroit, who would sign 1 year deals at a reasonable rate. Just my opin...

Re: Past Canuck Players
So apparently Burke was on the radio this morning saying this: Sportsnet 650 @Sportsnet650 3m "I didn't get full value for Pavel Bure..." - Brian Burke @Burkie2020 with @JamesCybulski and @psolkowski Don't worry, Micky will be along shortly with a link. Actual trade: Bure to the Florida Panthers, wi...

Re: 2020 NHL OFFSEASON
Plus, I figure after this season Edler will re-sign (after the expansion draft) at a team friendly 1/2 year for around 3 mil per type of contract. I like that thought, but IMO Edler is still playing like a very good Dman - I'd say he's worth at least 4.5-5 if its a 1-2 year deal . This is where a '...

Re: 2020 NHL OFFSEASON
I get what you are saying CP, I for one, would like a Harmonic type player signing at a reasonable rate. You need to count for injuries and with what has to be a very condensed schedule, I figure there could be a lot. personally, I would have Benn as the 6/7 rotating with a ELC (Joulevi/Rathbone) pl...

Apparently Fattenberg is heading to the KHL. Oh well, good luck to him.
