Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021
Michaelis is that kid they signed out of college right, I don't know anything about him. https://www.capfriendly.com/players/marc-michaelis Yeah, a German kid who played in Minny State U, put up some very good numbers in his final year. I think I heard JB say he's a 2-way guy with good playmaking a...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021
https://www.tsn.ca/radio/vancouver-1040/donnie-and-the-moj-december-15-2020-hour-1-1.1564512 Sounds like Nucks are interested in Erik Haula in addition to Hamonic. Haula was a former Vegas Knight and almost scored 30Gs not too long ago. Apparently, they're high on Marc Michaelis too and think he can...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021
"Calgary and Vancouver are in on Hamonic, and whoever can clear enough [cap] space, will end up getting him on a 1 year “show me” deal." Nice. Calgary spent alot of money in the offseason (on our guys), hopefully they won't be able to find the money. Maybe JB can add a mid-range asset (propect or p...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021
Let's hope Graovac is able to employ his 'vacuum sealed' poaching system to good effect again this year. Nice to see Graovac back. I didn't mind him last season as he brought some size and depth. He eve scored a couple goals for us in his limited action. Hope JB signs J.Bailey soon as well. :P

Hoggy with a Dank type goal (between legs). Great hustle to steal the puck and weaves thru traffic too.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021
Pretty sure Loui Eriksson was at the anti mask celebration. Can they fire his lazy ass too? He was singing with Donnelly and playing a harp or a skin flute or something. *LOL* Good one. Anyone good @ photoshop? I think Birdbones, Baercheese & Luongo were there too. :P Come to think of it, boy if we...

http://wellsedd.com/Content/Picard-Freedom.html You know, there are some words I've known since I was a schoolboy. 'With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censured, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably.' Those words were uttered by Judg...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021
LOL no shit nobody wants Eriksson. He isn’t going anywhere unless they attach some serious assets to him .... and no Juolevi or Tryamkin isn’t near enough. Eriksson is going to finish his six year contract here. Why would he walk away from 4 million next year? Yeah, a part of me wouldn't mind just ...

https://canucksarmy.com/2020/12/01/vancouver-canucks-prospect-viktor-persson-makes-swedens-world-junior-roster/ Good news with Victor Persson making the Swedish junior team. It'd be a godsend if he develops into a Salo type (minus the injuries) in the next few years. Sounds like Arvid Costmar is in ...

Re: Canucks Young Guns
OJ is a bust... Mathew haunts this man, I tell ya. There will be other players better than Olaf who were selected after him (ie: Matt Tkachuk, Sergachev), but Olaf will still have a good NHL career. He'll be more of a bottom pairing guy, but can play some top 4 on occasion. Unfortunately, like most...

Re: Canucks Young Guns
And who can slide on up to top four when injuries happen like to Myers or Steady Eddy. Remember; big Jordie can play either side so there are a plenitude of options just because of that there fact. Maybe the highly educated jack Rathbone blows into town and knocks Green's slippers off. Yeah...

Re: Canucks Young Guns
lol yeah Chatfield ain't no Tanev, but hopefully he can be a steady D presence if he ever makes it, at least the #7/#8 guy. Come to think of it, I went to the rookie camp a couple years back and Chatfield was there, he did remind me a bit of Tanev. Guess it all depends on what Greener wants in his ...
