Sportsnet reports that Vigneault wants Linden back.
All this Nonis and franchise bashing over nothing apparently.
Wheee.

The problem (I think) is that this decision for most people is being dictated by their hearts and not by their heads. Look - I'm as big of a Linden fan as you're going to find. His #16 is going to be up there with Smyl when it's all said and done and I don't think any Canuck (for a long time - if ev...

Why are we screwing him around like this? We don't have any young players ready enough to step into a full time role, and Linden proved last year that he can still contribute. If Linden has played his last game as a Canuck I will be extremely upset with management and this organization. He deserves...

The worst thing for both sides would be for this to drag on and affect the team. Part-owners of a team will do whats best for the team I would hope.... don't let this get out of hand!! :| I'd like to believe this is true - and it works for the EIG... but not when the two sides are in court in a fig...

BTW, if Gaglardi and Beedie win, they'll only own 50% of the team with Aqualini owning the other 50% since the only part that's in dispute is the first half of the sale. This means that Gaglardi and Beedie will have to work with the Aqualini's. Given the amount of bad blood between the two parties, ...

There's no point in calling up guys who are scoring for the Moose because they're not going to be scoring here when playing on the 3rd and 4th lines. It's better to leave them down and let them keep honing their craft because they're going to need an adjustment period before they're actually useful...

Once Salo is healthy again, I think he should be on the block (especially in light of how Edler has played). I say this, not because I want him to go (I like him in the lineup), but we're not going to be able to resign him next year AND he's somewhat marketable. Package in a Cooke or Morrison, throw...

I'm kind of on the fence about this one. From what I've read, if the Canucks were to sign LeClair, they'd get him for roughly $670,000 (pro-rated salary based on recall waiver claim of $900,000). It would allow us to perhaps waive/demote a couple more underachievers and free up some cap space while ...

Yes the Canucks are having trouble scoring, we all knew they would...but Luongo was meant to steal some games for us, which he hasn't . The Canucks D for the most part is letting up around 20-22 shots per game and Luongo always lets in 2-3. This is not the goalie we paid for. Yeah, this is complete...

Think you can do better than Nonis?
Well, here's your chance. I'm looking for some GM's for my Fantasy Hockey League based on software from FHLsim.com. There are a ton of teams still available. If you're interested, please e-mail me at commish@hockeyfan.org with your contact information and which team you're interested in running. Ple...

Re: If the Canucks are 10th or below by the trading deadline
Luongo should go. He is getting paid close to seven million dollars a year, will soon have a save percentage lower than .900 and he has never won anything! Never even been to the playoffs once! He gets out played by the other goalies almost every night....( last sunday is a great example) doesn't m...
