Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread

Tuna is just overcompensating for the dismal leaves. Let him have his day. The truth still hurts and this is helping him stay alive. Every time the pain of being a leaves fan rears he can always fall back on, ya but the Raptors won. In his mind it will erase the pain of being a leaves fan for a few...

Re: Canucks Contracts

Boeser is 23 and projected by many to be a 70-80 point winger who should approach 40 goals on a regular basis over 82 games. Skinner is 27 and has only hit that mark once, came close one other time, and he has maxed out twice at 63 points. Up until the rumor about him getting a possible offer from ...

Re: Canucks Contracts

Had a bit of fun arm-chair GM'ing on capfriendly today with some downtime at work.... Started by trading Sutter, Gaunce, and 4th to Ottawa for Borowiecki and a 7th. From the Canucks perspective it's a cap dump. Then I re-signed Edler, Hutton, Schenn, and Boeser, and grabbed Skinner from UFA. Virtan...

Re: Canucks Contracts

I was very pleased with how he finished the season. I also don’t think we’ve seen the best of him. I also want a fair contract for him and hope Benning doesn’t let it get contentious. But Benning has no rush. If it takes all summer so be it. I think he gets 7-8 years but only if Benning is willing ...

Re: Canucks Contracts

I'm just a messenger reporting what's out there, OK? Irfaan Gaffar ‏Verified account @sportsnetirf #Canucks and Boeser camp expected to meet again soon. Told the two sides are not close at all. 10:20 AM - 30 May 2019 I’d be curious to know the numbers, but I think they need to take a harder line wi...

Re: Canucks Contracts

Since he loves it here, we should be able to talk 33-yr-old Edler into a two year contract Agreed. Two-years, $12M, full NMC, call it done. I don't see other teams giving him that third year with trade protection, and there's not many teams as desperate on D as Vancouver... I can easily see a team ...

Re: Canucks Contracts

I’d give the Edler money to Myers, he just turned 29 and is more durable. Edler just turned 33 and isn’t durable. Same kind of player except one shoots right and the other left. Both call BC home Different class of contract, I’m afraid. I imagine the sticking point with Edler is the term, not money...

Re: The Bubbles and Dud review every GM move thread

I’m pretty sure I saw Dude rollerblading near Mahon Park the other day. He was wearing his usual costume of a wife beater, Daisy Duke shorts with his skullet blowing in the wind. Drinking a Lucky Lager, losing his balance periodically due to his razor thin bird legs and the amount of heroin he had ...

all made a lot of trades, some of them involving highly drafted players I might add.
Big difference is the players they got back were actually good.

Literally none of this is relevant to this discussion. I believe you have the worst reply in the history of CanucksCorner..........& that's pretty bad...basically didn't have no quality execution, no refutable evidence of anything. Island Nucklehead can be a good poster when he doesn’t let his Benn...
