Nashville may shop Weber around in Jan/Feb, as contenders plan their run to the cup.
His next contract price could depend on the destination.

Re: Hansen goes to Arbitration
I think that "longer contract equals lower cap hit" bit only really works at the extremes. In this case, a longer contract means that Hansen is giving up a year of unrestricted free agency, in which he could without any doubt make up the difference between what he'd earn on a two year deal and this...

Re: Hansen goes to Arbitration
1.35 AAV over 3 years is a great deal in my opinion. Agreed. You expect a lower cap hit in return for a longer contract, but this is great for the club. The fact that he went to arbitration two years in a row didn't make the odds of a longer contract look too good. The difference between 19G/yr (Ko...

Re: Hansen goes to Arbitration
@RealKyper Nick Kypreos #NHL news #Canucks Jannik Hansen settles his case and agrees to a new 3 year deal. This looks good. I like Hansen's game and the way he is progressing. My main concerns after the SCF were: getting Hansen signed; not spending too much on Ehrhoff; 2nd line depth & team toughne...

Re: Winchester to sign with VAN
In 76 regular season games with SL and Anaheim it looks like he averaged roughly 9 min a game, ending at -18. A little more ice time than the season ending snap shot indicated. Again, he was -9 in 19 games with Anaheim to finish the season. Playing about 5 min/game in the playoffs against Nashville...

Re: Your chance at fame!
Deshler is actually doing ok. It has one of the largest pivot irrigation manufactures in it. But a lot of these small towns are shrinking as most the kids from each generation move out. It's really just an odd way to advertise the fair I think. It's good that things are OK. Since honours like the "...

I hope this doesn't reflect the town's financial health.

To be fair, Winchester had some 1st line and PP experience with Anaheim, just not too successful. At 30 what you see....

More info is good, like GP, ice time, and injuries.
Interesting, but he was -9 in 19 GP with Anaheim, at about 7min/game. Another project ?

Re: Plot behind the Carter & Richards deals thickens
The Flyers aren't making them out to be "bad" guys....Richards and Carter are doing that to themselves. Their behaviour may improve in a new environment. Being split up, and placed in a mature group would help. However, the fact that these guys are major players may make it difficult to influence t...

To be fair, when I got my wisdom teeth taken out my face was all red and puffy too. MG must be running out of wisdom teeth. Although my heart did skip a beat with the thought of Baumgartner dressing came up. I was contemplating impending doom. It arrived, but in a different form. The injured Ehrhof...
