Glad to see Jimbro grad a few more D-prospects, but the real Canuck-action happens tomorrow with their UFA's

Re: Canucks Young Guns
Juolevi is 19 months older than Stringbeans. Juolevi is 6’-3” 200 lbs. Stringbeans is 6’-4” 180 lbs. Juolevi is going to take a job next camp. After being hard on the beaver about him until this return to play, I'm all in on the juice. He looked like a confident and capable NHL dman...hes ready Juo...

Re: Trade rumours & armchair pipe dreams 19-20 Sponsored by SKYO
People will be shocked to see the sticker price to get rid of the Air Thief. It ain’t Virtanen or Dipietro or Gaudette or a 3rd. It’s a minimum of Demko and likely quite a bit higher. Eriksson is poison. Many are labeling Eriksson unmovable. I would agree. If Jimbro can move him out in this flat-ca...

Re: Pre-draft & pre-free-agent day speculation
Lol it was a weak D with and without Myers. The bottom six were hemmed in their own zone the entire series which swung momentum big time. Myers is a decent middle pairing D man. You make him sound like the second coming of Chris Pronger. Definitely the teams weakness, but a pretty good D comp...

Re: Pre-draft & pre-free-agent day speculation
Did you see how trash our defense was when Myers went down in the playoffs? We missed his physical presence. Blues got better & went on a roll when Myers was injured. Same with Vegas, Tuch got stabilized when Myers was playing, but when he was out Tuch was way more effective. I agree with what you ...

Re: Pre-draft & pre-free-agent day speculation
I disagree on Myers, all Hughes needs is a decent defensive dman, thus having big Tyler Myers defensive power on D will help Hughes do what does best and help the forwards score. Look at it like a Brian Leetch with Jeff Beukeboom or Erik Karlsson with Marc Methot, all these type of QB dmen need is ...

Re: Pre-draft & pre-free-agent day speculation
Myers Hughes Stecher Edler are my expected top four to start next season while prospects fight with Benn for the bottom two slots. I don't think a back-up goalie will be signed early in Free Agency. They'll add someone decent on a one year deal later when contracts get cheaper. Myers as your #1 wou...

gonna depend on how many positions will be needed to be filled from within.
If they lose significant ufa's & rfa's there will be jobs available

Re: Goalies moving forward.
Well i guess it would depend on how bad he wants to win , stay in Van. & the available cap space for said teams. You could be right, but all i'm saying is there's a chance the Canucks would get the opportunity to match any offer. I like the fact Jimbro isn't rushing into this & is waiting to see wha...

Re: Goalies moving forward.
Just common sense. There’s a lot of teams that would love Markstrom as their number 1 and could guarantee him a NMC. But hey ... you do you. Sure there's alot of teams that would love Markstrom, but guess what? There's a flat cap and a definite probability that there will be no gate revenues next s...
