I could see Hansen dropped to the Moose if he doesn't perform in preseason.
This spells the end of Hordichuk, however.

Re: WILLIE SIGNS
I don't think Willie solves ALL of King's troubles, but will certainly help them. But I can't imagine being Willie right now, on one hand, he has to try and secure his future with his family, yes, he has made tons of money already, but he also has to ensure that he can get the most he can get for hi...

Adds Devils owner to the list of GMs that hate Bettman
The arbitrator was not neutral IMO
There is no way that contract should be voided based on the CBA
Common sense? Hell yes it should be. But the CBA was never about common sense

Re: Those Were The Days...
Butterfly style killed the high scoring era of the NHL.
Unless they are willing to risk injury to the goaltender, there's no way that we're going back.
And making the net bigger would just be stupid.
Banning butterfly style would be insane.
And I need another beer

Re: So where does Hodgson fit in to the Canucks plans
I wouldn't be surprised if Hodgson got a reality check in camp and preseason and realizes that he just isn't physically developed enough to play amongst the best in the NHL. And goes to Winnipeg and works hard all year to dominate there.
Maybe I'm hoping for too much of a good story here...

Re: Big Willie picking from 4
I doubt anyone is offering him a multi year deal because of the concussion If the caps offered a 3 year deal at 4mil. Wille would be there already Teams are looking for one year deals and Canucks have a huge advantage over other teams when you consider all the little things to sign Willie for the ne...

Luongo could end the year with 10 straight shut outs and I'm sure Pratt will still rant on him.

Re: Big Willie picking from 4
All of you are missing one key point
Bieksa had his best season playing beside Big Willie
Hamhuis-Erhroff
Ballard-Edler
Bieksa-Mitchell
Rome
Salo-LITR
Very possible if we unload SOB, AA, and DH
