Re: Canucks News n Notes 21-22

Wow. Lots of love for Chiasson in this thread. Didn’t see that coming for a guy who had one goal bounce off his foot as he flailed on his stomach, and another goal when Petey hit his stick. Suddenly he’s a regular Thomas Hornqvist. When Chiasson is the leading PP scorer, it says more about how much...

Jebus, Allan Walsh has always been the type to stick the sword in someone's back - but you have to work with the NHL as an Agent. How does this help?

Were you expecting complaints from recipients of Christmas generosity?
LOL - I'd love to meet the clients who complain about receiving whiskey as a gift!

Re: My Truck...

A run through the Okanogan yesterday, ice, slush, compact snow, and freezing rain. Fucking awesome. Late to the party - but those are what I've always run up here in the North. I have a siped set for winter, and a beat up set for summer. Only issues I face vs. true winter tires are temps below -25C...

Hargraves uses common sense to come to the conclusion that Chatfield is not going to be an NHL regular barring a miracle that provides him with hands, hockey sense, a decent shot, the ability to thread the needle with a pass all at age 25. It ain’t happening. 7 or 8 point a year d men in the AHL ge...

Wow! Log off for a day or so - and I miss all the action. That was almost worth the price of admission...

I'd have to start a poll - monumental, fable or did it make it all the way to epic?- Though some really disturbing comments about crayons and uncles might limit this to fading from epic.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Arizona draft pick Mitchell Miller is about to be crucified in the media for being an asshole when he was in grade 9. Is a shame that the press doesn’t know the meaning of the word discretion. I don't mind the media reporting on this story, sucks for that kid for sure - as we all did dumb shit when...

Awww... a retort with questionable grammar followed by a post with a picture of a guy holding a chicken. That what passes for epic these days? My popcorn got cold.

Well, that’s a wrap folks!! Gomer is now officially getting schooled in every thread whenever a real hockey conversation comes up! I'm not getting schooled by anyone you fat, prairie, wannabe but failing hockey guru. If your shriveled brain was even as big as your pushed in nose, you would have fig...

There is no denying the guy has talent. His hockey sense, commitment and professionalism is in question. Sure he pumped in some reg season goals but he sucked in the big games Todd. We were all ready for beast mode but all we got was Loui Eriksson Jr Not sure that's fair to LE, he does the little t...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021

Don't judge this post for coming to Mick's defense or anything - more of a, "I just don't know" post. As I understand it, if JV makes it to arbitration, another 48 hour buyout window opens for the Canucks. If he gets say 3.9mil (which is WAY too much for JV) - can we use the buyout window on him? T...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021

Ferland has shown the ability put up a few goals/points - was a 40pt. player the last few "healthy" seasons - and is likely good to put up more than 15-18 goals in a season if he plays a good portion of it (especially in the top 6). Big IF for sure. At 3.5mil that's not bad production - so even if h...
