Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Gilman has it under control over there, don’t you worry. Lol, the only capologist that orchestrated a contract that’s getting retroactively punished to the tune of 3 million a year. And yet the fan base in Vancouver still praises this moron Sarcasm I realize, and I’m agreeing with his sarcasm. Yeah...

Re: Training Camp - 2019

Thanks for the report, Benjo.

Nice to hear that about Petey - solid character moves in addition to the epic ones on the ice.

If you attend tomorrow as well, look forward to seeing another update.

Re: Training Camp - 2019

I'd still like to see both players have at least a substantial portion of this year to iron out their wrinkles. Some players just take longer to learn lessons/improve. Maybe they never learn but I'm not ready to give up on either.

Re: Training Camp - 2019

Joey Kenward #Canucks Coach Travis Green says Olli Juolevi will skate with 3rd group today and is hopeful he can rejoin main group tomorrow. Adds he’s happy with what he saw out of Jake Virtanen this morning, saying: “Sometimes tough lessons are the ones that sink in the most.” 12:17 PM · Sep 14, 2...

Re: 2019 offseason

I don’t think Goldobin clears waivers. If we sign him it will be on the cheap and his occasional offensive flashes will make him an enticing reclamation project for someone. If he doesn’t fit on the team in Benning, or Green’s eyes, I’d rather they move him for something. I don't think there would ...

Article from The Hockey Writers ranking the Canucks' top 10 prospects: https://thehockeywriters.com/canucks-top-ten-prospects-2019-20/ One item of interest in this ranking is Hoglander (2nd) rated higher than Podkolzin (3rd). Anyway, a long ways to go until we see whether these prospects turn out bu...

Re: Offseason grades so far

To apply a blanket statement to the Canucks situation and defend it by saying trading picks is a bad idea is complaining for the sake of complaining... Sorry, its the way I see it ... if you want to go into detail as to why trading away a draft pick today which will be at worst 2 drafts away is a b...

Re: Offseason grades so far

I'm sorry to have to tell you this (I know it must be tough for you) but it was "well played" as his response was better than your initial joke. Sorry, Buddy. Maybe next time? Don't fret though, I'm sure you've still got a lot of good material. WHOOSH DOUBLE WIN: Strangelove :mex: https://media.gip...

I really don't care what you think about the Miller trade, hate it if you like brother! * offers Nuckertuzzi a delicious glass of punch * :D Good, thank you. And not drinking the kool-aid but thanks for the offer. Well played, Sir. Actually... That was the joke. Join the collective. And his r...

Re: Offseason grades so far

The idea of accumulating picks assumes there is a law of averages. No. It recognizes JB's drafting skills and seeks to exploit those skills as much as possible. based on a law of averages No. Based on the FACT that there are a limited number of players who will turn out to be solid or excellent NHL...
