I think that is logical. Altercations with fans should be taken more seriously than altercations that happen on-ice.

Contact or no? If it's no then he still might be a few weeks away.
No contact but shooting before mid-November. So the 15th, I guess.

Re: HEADSHOTS

What is amazing is that there are comments from the pundits about no respect amongst the players, yet hockey used to be a hell of a lot more vicious than it is now. Remove the instigator rule and a lot of the cheap shots will stop. Change the equipment. The league modified the elbow pads in 2003, t...

Re: GDT: Canucks @ Chicago - 6pm - TSN

what made this game fun was that it FELT fun. Even on TV, there was an electricity. Part of me thinks it's all production value. TSN gets all the good angles and close-ups, not to mention the best Wednesday night match-ups. CBC's just a little too boring in comparison (Mark Lee and Weekes are awful...

Re: GDT: Canucks @ Minny - 6pm - Sportsnet One

PK couldn't handle anything. Minny has the best PP in hockey right now. Luongo has to make a save... none of the goals were terrible, but he didn't make any decent saves. Schneider looked far better. Sedins were the only bright spot offensively. Raymond was all over the ice, couldn't get much going...

Re: The Hockey News predicts Canucks to win it all

How so? We'll still talking about a division-winning team that didn't play like one in the playoffs. They lacked any sort of intensity, competitiveness, consistency, and drive in those games. Seems to me we've been talking about nothing more than the NW division in our little exchange looking over ...

Re: THE TORONTO MAPLE leaves

am I the only guy who thinks Kaberle is overpaid for what he delivers? (almost overrated??) I don't think so. He's an excellent puck mover and shooter who can pot 50 points over 82 games easily who comes about $3 million cheaper than Brian Campbell. He's not great defensively but certainly one of t...

Re: The Hockey News predicts Canucks to win it all

Which really meant nothing in the playoffs with an abysmal showing in elimination games two years in a row. But that would be changing the topic. How so? We'll still talking about a division-winning team that didn't play like one in the playoffs. They lacked any sort of intensity, competitiveness, ...

Hamhuis is doubtful tonight. Expect Ryan Parent to see his first game as a Canuck if Hamhuis can't go.

There are no sometimes when you've played four games. I'll give you "sometimes" at about game 20.

Re: THE TORONTO MAPLE leaves

Wow rose coloured glasses. Those tough as nails guys still golden if the team misses the playoffs, which is still the likely outcome of the season. I think they could squeak in. If the leaves continue to play like this and still miss the playoffs it's not a lack of effort but lack of top end skill....

Re: THE TORONTO MAPLE leaves

Other than chemistry I think it's that Burke has just collected a group of COMPETITORS. No Rickard Wallins, no Alexei Ponikarovskys.Tough as nails Phaneufs, Komisareks, Browns, Orrs. Players who play like their spots weren't handed to them like Bozak. What a great find he is. And how about that Kess...
