Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Lucic has a modified NTC, at 6m per Marchand has a modified NTC, at 4.5 per Eriksson no longer has a NTC as he was traded to the Bruins prior to his NTC kicking in, at 4.25 per. I could see the Bruins trading Macrhand and possibly Eriksson to make room for an Eberle type. But the on Y me that they c...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

A culture change is required, but does firing coach and gm do that? Not if the team is fundamentally flawed. Tough decisions for Oil brass.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

^^^ Ohlund benefits, he collects his full salary. When it's time for Luongo to retire his salary may not worth his time collecting. But I hear Ya. Hard not to be cynical with the NHL, or any other pro sports league. It's all about more money, for everyone. I wonder who wil, get hurt for Boston so th...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

You really think Mark wants yo coach? Would be funny him having MacT and Lowe as his bosses. Maybe he will become special assistant to the prez. Who knows what the presser is about. Hard to magine it is anything significant simply because no word has leaked as to what it may be about. Maybe MacT is ...

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Kyper saying a strong chance that Eberle could be going to Boston. Depends upon Boston clearing cap which means another team or two may be involved taking a salary from Boston. He says this is not imminent and not likely to be part of the presser tomorrow. But interesting that Bostom may need anothe...

Re: Vancouver @ Pittsburgh 4:00 PM PST SN360,ROOT

Well let's not forget we are without, arguably, our best D man, without Kassian and our number one wasn't in net. Whatever happened to injuries are no excuse, or does that only apply to the Canucks? We caught a scheduling break playing the Oilers more than say the Sharks at the start of last season....

Hard to believe that Lack just got the first shut out in Canuck history in Pittsburg! Wow, with all the great teams and goalies we have had that's pretty special.

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)

Edmonton announces major press conference for tomorrow. Wonder if it is to acknowledge that they won't make the playoffs?

Eddie needed that, just to regain his confidence and that of WD. What a great team game. Total domination.

Next stop, Santorelli land, and Booth if he is playing.

Re: Vancouver @ Pittsburgh 4:00 PM PST SN360,ROOT

Sitting back a tad....mistake boys..step on the jugular.. Ya, they've taken the pressure off and are sitting back too much. The result is they get trapped for long shifts in their own zone. But a three goal lead I guess makes it easier to sit back mentally. I'm sure it's now how they scripted the th...

Re: Vancouver @ Pittsburgh 4:00 PM PST SN360,ROOT

From TSN boxscore: "Brad Richardson scores an empty net shorthanded goal assisted by Jannik Hansen" How.... what was... it was second period. can someone explain? It was a lucky goal. The up k was sent out front by Hansen and hit Richardson's stick, that happened to be perfectly positioned. But non...

We have dominated two periods. All we have to do is win the third.

No let up, no sitting back, keep pushing.
