Re: W-GDT Knights @ Canucks Apr 8 7pm PDT SN1

It is believed that Pettersson is playing through groin issue. Most agree he must be nursing some type of issue for his play to have dropped off as it has. But here is the thing, when he turns on the switch he gives this team two powerful top lines. He has found some chemistry with Hoglander and Boe...

Re: W-GDT Knights @ Canucks Apr 8 7pm PDT SN1

If they could trade Boeser and off load the other Russian they would free up cap to bring back a pretty good D corp and go shopping for another top six. The return on Boeser should be a first plus.

Re: GDT Knights @ Canucks Apr 8 7pm PDT SN1

They are playing well tonight. 2 goals against were bad goals. Demko would have had them. We have given up 2 PK goals on bad penalties. They can clean that up. They have to. Good to see the PP click. Garlund, an unsung hero. JT with his 100th point. Boeser with his 40th. So far I think we have outpl...

Re: GDT Knights @ Canucks Apr 8 7pm PDT SN1

I'll be watching. This guarantees a win! well ok so NOT. ButI think they welcome out ready to prove point. What point I'm not sure. A great game for the kid to get tested in the bigs. He is playing for the back up spot next year and I am sure he knows it. Boeser to shoot for 40. Pettersson to show h...

Re: L-GDT Canucks @ Kings, 060424, 7pm SPAC

I look forward to watching them again. It is distressing how ordinary they have been. Good idea to give Demko’s and Lindholm as much time off as possible but they are at risk of losing the division. The last game we play could spell Oiler revenge. De Smith is showing we can let him walk as a FA and ...

I wonder what Mark Messier would have done?

Re: Canucks News n Notes 21-22

I still say Pettersson is playing tentative. He does not want to physically engage. He needs to push through that and I think he will. If he doesn't then aren't we smart only locking him up for three years. Still own his rights and trade his ass.

Re: Canucks News n Notes 21-22

What I found interesting is he said last season he broke some ribs and missed 4 weeks. This whole time I thought it was a groin injury. LOL

So no worries anymore on him pulling the groin.

Re: Coaching Change? Yay or Nay.

I remember the days when fans were clamouring for WD to be fired before we lost Green to some other team. Green was the second coming.

Re: Canucks News n Notes 21-22

The move to send Rathbone to Abbotsford is the right one but in my mind should have happened at the end of camp. We should also have waived Hunt then. We should have kept Juolevi. That was the more logical approach. Had Hamonic reported then Burroughs would likely have been waived too at the end of ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021

Hamonic is a Bieksa heart and soul guy. He will go to war to protect his teammates. We need that grit. One of the reasons we brought in Benn. Benn has never lived up to that mostly because he didn't get the ice time. I think Hamonic will be trusted by Green more and get more ice. More ice means more...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021

At the price those guys won't want to lock in past this season. Thats the beauty. No need to go longer than one year.

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021

With the compressed schedule we need extra D. Getting another vet on the cheap is a smart move but overall I agree we have to let the kids play. I agree with Doc, Hamonic brings grit. Something we need. Too many liberties taken with young superstars, on all teams. We need players who are willing to ...

Re: Canucks News N Notes 2020-2021

Count me Inas one who just wants to run with what we have. Exception of course is if we get a vet Dman cheap on a one year deal. I mean 1 million or less. Strictly for depth and experience. Other than that I want Benning to sit tight and wait for the TD to see where we are in the standings and if in...
