Re: What do you miss?

How about "live" music with the organ that gets the fans into the game instead of the canned music at every stoppage ??

Re: To make the playoffs

A few weeks back we were talking about our chances of winning the cup.. Well how things have changed.. For sure ... thats why its a long season. We are going through a rough spot right now. One good thing I guess is that we are still in the race with Lui being out as opposed to having a ton of grou...

Re: Is this the year of the Sharks?

You can look at it that way Larry Goodeenough,or you can think of it as a wake up call that could be used to motivate and show what is needed. time will tell, we'll have to come back to this at seasons end for sure. Better to lose 6-0 on December 18th than 6-0 in June. Sharks and Detroit are still ...

Re: Gillis teaches a lesson. G.M 101.

I've heard conflicting reports on this Grizz. One (1040) mentioned 6mill, another (tsn) said 2.5. Most likley somwhere in the middle. Still enough to go for a top sixer at the deadline. So lets start looking at teams that ain't goin' to the show and see who we can take and for what! Being a hockey ...

Re: Is this the year of the Sharks?

Re: Gillis teaches a lesson. G.M 101.

How much cap room do we have left now ?? Does Gillis have any room to possibly grab someone else down the stretch for a playoff run ??

Re: RDS Reports Sundin to Return, Vancouver Likely Destination

Well I have to admit that I was a naysayer at the beginning of the season ...I didn't think that the Nucks had enough depth to be competitive in this conference with all the good teams out there. So far I have to say that I have been wrong! The team much to my liking has really surprised me. Even wi...

Re: Thoughts on Brian Burke

Big Tuna ... And the Canucks are absolutely screwed without Luongo and you know it. Bye bye playoffs. I guess we'll see whether that happens or not. According to an article I read in the Hockey News the other day the 'Nucks' are too good of a team with their solid defence to cave ... with or without...

Re: Luongo's Injury

A few musings about this injury. 1) Luongo is not Cloutier. His conditioning and work ethic is far superior that of Dan the Man. 2) Just because he didn't put weight on the leg as he was being helped off the ice, remember it's all pre-cautionary. No need to aggravate the injury in any way shape or ...

Re: Luongo's Injury

I pulled my right groin about 20 years ago. Once a year if I slip on ice or move the wrong way it tweeks that old injury. The way Roberto was walking is exactly the way I would walk after words. The next day I would walk even better than the day before. I don't know if he pulled his left groin befo...

Re: Who likes Wellwood now ?

Just a thought and some fodder for discussion Clam ... ... Was it really a freewheeling era back then ?? For sure there was more scoring but that could be attributed to alot of things - 4 on 4, smaller goalie pads, revolutionary style of play aka Gretzky & Co. etc. . I think there was alot more clut...
